Wasn't ready to invest in a $100 set for a job that I'm still new at, but picked these because they were advertised as having a noise reduction mic.On first impression I was nervous that it didn't appear to have a pop filter on the mic, but the quality feels good, many headphones feel like they could just snap in your hands. These seem very sturdy, even when adjusting the fit.I've attached a quick video of myself speaking, first just that, then with a podcast playing in the background to see how much it might pick up. As you can hear, the quality in the first bit is good, especially considering the price, but you can very clearly hear the podcast in the background, so I'm nervous about how much it may be able to pick up a conversation from a coworker sitting next to me, since we deal with sensitive information.I'll test it a bit more and may update this, but it is still a nice headset. My fiance may end up getting it for gaming, since that is really its intended use, but hopefully I can make it work for calls.

Ok, Review of the Beeexcellent USB Headset. First impressions, they look good and have a quality feel to them. The braided cord is nice, and they are a true USB plug and play in that I did not have to install any drivers. (Windows 10 PC).Set up was a non-issue, plugged in and they worked. The Blue lighted sides made my gamer son actually said they were cool. (This is an impressive comment from him, trust me!)All of the controls worked well and allowed me to adjust volume, mute the headset, and turn off the LED lights from the cord.I used three songs to evaluate the sound, The Sound of Silence by Disturbed, Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You, and Ride of the Valkyries by Richard Wagner.The overall sound quality was well above average, with most notes sounding crisp and clean. The bass was not as deep or hard-hitting as I like, but it was quite acceptable; remember, these are not $600 Bose headphones. Each song sounded good, and even with the volume up to 80/100%, I did not experience any distortion.For gaming, I tested with Fortnight and Call of Duty. Both worked well, and the other players said I sounded good with no issues. Mute button worked during gameplay. I really liked that the microphone folds up snug against the headphones, not in the way when not used.I wore these for over four hours while testing, and I can say that they were comfortable. The earpads and head pad are very cushy.As for the noise cancellation, I honestly did not even think about that until my wife tapped me on the shoulder, since with them on, I didn’t hear her trying to get my attention. So, with that information, I would have to say yes, noise cancellation works! She said she even yelled before tapping me, and I did not hear her. The volume was at about 40/100 when this occurred.So, the overall review is would I buy these again? Yes, I feel they are more than worth the price paid and feel that the value and quality are far above what I expected for sub-$30 headphones. I cannot speak to longevity yet but will post after some time using these.

I purchased this as a gift for my bf. We like to play a lot of PC games together. He has been looking for a pair of new affordable headphones for his desktop. I am impressed by this headset; it looks, feels, and works very high quality. My bf’s head is bit toward the larger size (because he is an adult man). Buying headphones can be tricky for my bf because others cannot be extended long enough to fit his head, making them uncomfortable to wear for a long time. These ones however have good adjustablity (both shorten and extended) and are really comfortable to wear over the ears. The sound quality is crystal clear with very powerful volume and 3D surround. The microphone especially is really good, although it is fixed an not really adjustable it is both sensitive and really good at filtering out background noise, his voice comes through clear with almost no static.

As always, I'm a bit skeptical of lower priced products, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these headphones. The installation was a breeze, just pop the disk in, choose your operating system and go. After a quick run-through with all the little gadgets the software includes ( voice changer and surround effects) I put it to real use listening to a variety of songs from different genres. All of them sounded great.From there I opened up one of my favorite online games and checked out the surround capabilities. I was quite impressed at how well the 7.1 reacted to sounds as I passed by conversations and interacted with objects. Even standing in one spot and turning a full circle, you get the feeling that you are within all the action you're seeing on screen.Lastly the sound quality from the mic was rated by my friends online as if I was standing in the room right next to them, no scratchiness, no digitization of my voice. Very impressive.Lastly, in the past my kids have had trouble with their headphones using the braided cable, where the cord just seems to want to curl up into a little ball and stay that way. I have not seen any sign of that with these, which makes me very happy.Overall, I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for an all-around great headset mic.

The USB connection is only for light. It uses aux cable for audio. So returned it. This is just FYI. Gave 4 stars cuz I didn't wanna demean the brand. Everything looked solid tho..didn't test
