Always a good idea to replace mounts when replacing struts. These are good if not better than oem

Installed exactly as expected on a 2005 G35 Sedan.I would prefer if it came with grease to put between the rubber and metal of the car. Also, note that It does use a different sized nut than the OEM mount nuts. No issue with install, and it prevents you from re-using old nuts, which is a good thing.If you're replacing these, you need a strut compressor, and either a good offset 17mm wrench or open-ended socket so you can hold the end of the strut while you tighten down the strut bolt.Update: Dropped down to 1 Star. - One week after installing, the passenger side went from silent to squeaking nearly constantly when going over even smooth pavement. Shaking the car when stopped made it clear that the strut mount was to blame. Spray-lube didn't do any good, so I pulled the strut, re-greased the mount, and it was silent for about two days, now it's back, and getting worse. The driver's side remains quiet, or just significantly less squeaky, so it can't be heard over the passenger side mount. The equivalent-priced Monroe 905985 (or going OEM) seem to have fixed the squeak for others, so I'll give them a shot.Update: A few weeks later, both are now intermittently squeaking.

Did what it should. I replaced all four shocks and front mounts, and there was very little perceptible ride difference. The car (@75K) was just starting to float a little after big bumps, and that's gone now.

I purchased these to go along with the KYB struts and shocks I was having installed in my G35 Coupe. I love the ride of the struts and shocks, but after a few weeks the strut mounts began to squeak. I found the same issue reported in an online forum. That user swapped the KYB's out a couple of times with the same results - squeaks. Eventually he changed them out for Monroe Strut Mounts. Save yourself the time and trouble. Also, watch out for the guys at Just Suspension. They'll sell you merchandise, but won't stand behind the products they sell even going so far as to ignore your requests for help and not reply to emails.

If you have a 2004 Infiniti G35 RWD Coupe then this is the part you need for the job. My car now makes less noise when running over speed bumps and other road irregularities.

Works exactly as described......would buy again if needed!!
