I recieved and tried out this camera today. It works well on both a Windows 10 HP laptop PC and on my Samsung J7 smartphone. It works as an auxiliary camera in the native Winnows 10 application.It did take me a few minutes to figure out that I had to fold back the end of the full size USB plug to find the mini plug that connects to my Smartphone. As some others have mentioned I also found the CameraFi app rather obnoxious with all of its advertising and asking for an $8.99 per month subscription fee. But right below it in the Google Play Store I found the "ENDOSCOPE CAMERA" app. I installed that and it works well with this camera with a minimum of advertising.

Video up to 1080p 25fps - smooth and responsive on a smartphone, but choppy and laggy on a PC using the default Camera app. It is recognized by Win10 without additional software. Works on a Note 8 using CameraFI; just grab the app from the store if you don't want to use their QR code.All the USB adapters (type a, micro b, and type c) worked too.It would help if there were an indicator on the camera housing which direction was up.

This camera does not work with my laptop running Windows 10. The only think in the package is the camera and a piece of paper telling you to go to a website to download something that could be a driver, but it doesn't work.I contacted the seller and was directed to a third party site to find some software that MIGHT allow me to use the camera and not have wasted nearly $20. Too bad for me, as I did WASTE $20, as this camera does not work.The OS recognizes that a USB device has been plugged into the laptop, but there is no driver support for it. Windows 10 has a LOT of built-in drivers for USB cameras, but not for this camera. Why? I don't know. It's not difficult these days to have a website where tested drivers can be downloaded. But, it's cheaper and easier to sell a product and then just ignore the few customers who either have a faulty camera, or can't get the software to work with the camera.Either way it's poor customer service, and that is worse than actually having a defective product. A defective product can be returned or swapped out, but poor customer service means that that won't happen.

To start, I wanted to see if Windows 10 had a driver. I plugged the camera in and Windows 10 set it up. I then opened the Windows 10 camera app and was able to see video. The LED lighting is quite bright. I’ll test it through narrow openings next, but the long flexible sturdy neck should make that task easy. I really like that Windows 10 has a driver so I don’t have to install their program for it to run out of the box. I’ll install their program if needed.

The boroscope works well. The computer software was choppy. There are several phone apps that work well for it.

This 'camera' is an absolute waste of time and money. It comes with very sketchy documentation (One sheet, of no real use) and requires software to be downloaded. Once this is done, one finds out that it is merely a 'DEMO' version and the software much be purchased. To buy further software is pointless as the camera's functionality is horrid; it can't be focused, you have no way to tell which way is up, the light is too poor for any sort of use in restricted spaces.Save your money, look elsewhere!!
