Terrific for plantar fasciitis
I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. I have struggled with it for nearly five years. Surgeries on both feet. I no longer have pain but I will wear orthotics for the rest of my life. I bought these inserts for daily comfort and to prevent recurrence of pf symptoms. They are very cushiony and very supportive. I have high arches so I love the level of arch support. If your feet are on the normal to flatter side, these might not be as comfortable for you. I love them. I wear them in a pair of running shoes (not that I run) that start with an H and end in a "oka". These shoes have a lot of cushion in them too.

Use in most of my shoes for over probation & cupped heels
I have plainer fasciitis, high arches & severe pronation. At 72, I need good sturdy orthotics or I’m likely to fall. I have been wearing these Orthaheel for many years( I clean them with Clorox Wipes. I’m a size 8 & buy the Active Max Support in Small Women’s US 6-1/2 to 8; fits with no cutting. Very sturdy & last forever it seems. I can’t remember when I last purchased a pair & didn’t buy this new pair because mine wore out because they didn’t. I have lots of shoes & want 2 pairs.

Superb!
We've been wearing orthaheels for years. They do a terrific job and offer comfortable support. I spent over $300 on custom orthotics that wound up hurting my heels (even after plantar faciitis surgery on left foot). The dr. would not honor his original agreement with me that we would make them fit & feel right no matter what. I found these right before that ill-fated dr's appt. and started wearing them. My feet stopped hurting. So, when he refused to honor his agreement with me I asked to please explain to me why a pair of $40 orthotics felt better then my custom $300 ones and asked him to fix the custom orthotics until they felt as good. He again refused me. Needless to say we parted our ways after that and I have not been back to that guy nor have I needed to go back becuz of my orthaheels inserts and shoes. I was on the path to needing surgery on my right foot, but becuz of my orthaheels that hasn't happened and it's been almost 6 years. I tell everyone I can to try these before they invest in custom orthotics. Vionic orthaheels are a real life saver!

Sweet relief, a whole lot less pain...
I was a bit unsure whether I should get these or not, but very glad I did.I purchased a pair of Vionic sandals for the first time last summer, and was pleasantly surprised. My knees nor my back were not painfully screaming at me, and I could enjoy going out to the mall for the first time in ages. Cold weather came and reluctantly I had to put my sandals away. Knee and back pain returned and sadly the hunt for Vionic comfort became a passion. Unfortunately, having hammer toes made my search difficult to say the least. I purchased cute Mary Jane clog type shoes, loved the way the arch fit, but toe pain was too much.I purchased foam toe protectors and they did help, but I still could not spend time at the mall like I had with the Vionic sandals. So I decided to try these, and I replaced the footbed inside my sneakers with mesh top with these Orthoheel footbeds. Sweet relief, knee and back pain were down to where it was tolerable to stand and walk again. Yes I could have purchased more shoes trying to get the relief I had found with the sandals, but I now can use these footbeds in all my shoes and I am thrilled. I surely would buy again.

Insoles for comfort
I suffer from plantar fasciitis and was in need of a new pair of insoles for my shoes. This product boasts it is designed by podiatrists and intended to assist with foot and leg pain. Also the product states it is made for everyday wear and is comfortable.Pro: The insoles are exactly the sized needed. I wear a size 8 and there was no gap in the toe area wear the insole and shoe meet. Once the factory insoles were removed from my sneakers these easly slide in and out of the shoe. Also I was able to use these insoles in a pair of healed dress shoes with no issues. The insole is soft and does feel comfortable when wearing. I have flat feet and have no trouble with the arch support they do not feel overly high.Con: During the hotter months after long walks the insoles will get somewhat damp from my feet and I need to pull them out of the shoe to dry. Also it has been 3 months from buying these insoles and they are getting a little wear around the edges and in the heel. I also am starting to get more heel pain recently and am thinking of buying a new pair.I would recommend the Orthaheel insoles for comfort and foot pain. I only gave this product a 4 stars due to the dampness at times and that they are wearing out after 3 months.

I was skeptical
I was skeptical of these. I usually go to Road Runner Sports and have custom shoe inserts made, since i suffer from plantar fasciitis. Since we have been sheltering in place, i haven't been able to get new ones made. I wear Vionic (new name: Orthaheel) shoes at work - the insoles in the dress flats ROCK!!! So I thought, i'd give their Active insert a try. I inserted them into my Brooks glycerin athletic shoes and it took a minute to get used to the stiffness of the arch. BUT - it works WELL. no plantar fasciitis pain when I work out!!!! These are MUCH cheaper than getting custom inserts made. Not sure how long they will last, but for now, these are PERFECT!

Pricey but worth it
Repeat purchase! Work perfectly for me to be able to work on my feet on concrete floors, and just to walk any distance. Helped to resolve plantar fasciitis which has not returned. I have found other insoles to be too rigid or to have contours that force my feet into odd positions. My only negative comment would be that they do squeak in some shoes - solved by slipping a thin piece of fabric between the heel edge of the insert and the shoe. Worth the money!

Comfortable support
I bought these to go in my shoes that are older or don't have cushioned insoles. They provide enough arch and cushioning that I'm comfortable all day. My feet aren't tired or sore after a whole day at work. I have 3 pairs of these inserts - one for my slippers and 2 for my work shoes. The first pair I purchased lasted almost 2 years before starting to smell.
