We got this muzzle to stop one of our dogs (Maggie) from chewing on a couch. She’s just bored when we’re gone during the day and that’s what she wants to do. The very first day using it, she was able to take it off. This photo is what was left of it from the first day using it. If your dog needs a muzzle, he/she can take this one off and destroy it immediately. Find a better one that he/she cannot take off.

Initially a nice muzzle. Comfortable with a proper fit. Rubber basket broke within a couple weeks. Might be more appropriate for less active dogs but expected a bit more considering.

My puppy weighs 42lbs, a coonhound mix.I followed the size chart for her collar, but it is too big. So, I will be returning it.
