FTCE English 6-12 Secrets Study Guide: FTCE Subject Test Review for the Florida Teacher Certification Examinations

I would give this zero stars if I could. This book is garbage and zero help in regards to the test. The information is incredibly overwhelming and the practice test and the essay examples are NOTHING like the test (which I took today). Do not waste your money!

The information in the book is pretty thorough, especially if it's been a long time since you've been in a high school English class. It's loosely organized, which didn't bother me so much as the fact that there is only one practice test and it was completely different than the material in the book! Definitely not worth the money.I did pass the test, but I also purchased another book.

This book seems like a lot of information copy pasted from other sources. There is no discernable organizational scheme and a lot of the information is repeated two or three times in different places. Half the pages are devoted to generic testing tips not specific to this exam. Not of publishable quality.

This book was a waste if time! The material covered in the book is completely irrelevant to the actual material on the test. Please do not buy this book or the flash cads they suggest you buy along with the book.

The FTCE English 6-12 Secrets Study Guide:is extremely comprehensive and relevant. I am really glad I purchased it before taking the test.

NOT a good study guide. Has a lot of info but no study or prep help. The test in the back of the book doesn't correspond to the rest of the book at all.

There are no sub titles, and not enough explanations. It's hard to take notes from these brief explanations. The essay part of the exams doesn't exist in this book, but is a major part of the exam. I am very disappointed with this book. I just can't seem to study properly from this book. It sucks! I prefer buying the flash cards-I heard it has high reviews!

SO far I think the product is informative, and I like the additional information with the video clips.
