I use this at night, not on a blister. The “balm” is more of a solid, grainy, and clumpy texture, it’s not smooth or easy to pick up on your finger like a regular lip balm. I scrape a small amount up, then plop the clump on my lips and spread it around. It starts melting when you spread it, probably due to body heat. Also, it’s not very moisturizing.

They were sold out of the chapstick tube one so I tried This. Seems like the same product. I’ve bought about four chapstick tubes in the past. I keep One in my car, purse, and work and home. This one will be placed in my travel bag. I ALWAYS have to have some with me. When I feel That tingle the cold sore doesn’t even form. If I catch It too late like in the morning when I wake Up then the cold sore doesn’t last that long and doesn’t get that big. I always Like to take lysine in pill form while using this. I did Use this one time and it dries me up so good it kinda was like a burn but it was all good. I am So grateful for this product. I also Use the piercing solution and bump oil. Update: this seems like the same as the one that comes in the chapstick tube. Use it right when you feel like one coming and it won’t appear &/or it won’t get larger. It keeps the size down, takes a way redness or irritation and cuts down healing soooooo much. Lysine & lemon balm calms you naturally so you also may feel a nice calm tiredness come over you. I love Using this at night right before bed.

Very tiny jar of lemon balm that will easily fit in purse or pocket. I tried this on my chapped lips when it arrived and it worked very quickly. Great for many uses.

I bought this to help reduce the severity of a cold sore. Honestly, I do not know if it helped since it seems that as I get older, my cold sores have become worse...this one lasted about two weeks. I used this product diligently once I received it (on day three of the cold sore). I bought it because I was feeling desperate and I read that lemon balm, peppermint oil and tea tree oil all help with cold sores; this product contains all three. It seems to be a quality product and since a little goes a long way, you will not run out quickly. I will definitely use this for future cold sores, making sure to start using it as soon as the sore appears.

My daughter was itching and crying all night before this. I bought this and the roll on and it’s helped her tremendously. I used this with silver colloidal gel!

I really enjoy this product and it’s really effective with cold sores. Now, the price is pricey but it works if you suffer from getting cold sores etc.

My friend has this and raved about it healing her fever blisters. I figured I would try. It is a small container for the price and I don’t like how I had to use my fingers to get out. It smells like citronella. But that being said, I applied with taking medication and it did keep the fever blister small and healed within a week. I will keep using if I get anymore. Plus, I do like how it’s natural so my kids can use it too. I will also try the stick kind next.
