I used to have a XiaoMi box. But since 2-3 years ago, it became different to watch Chinese TV/Movie through XiaoMi. Sometime I could watch through unblock DNS service but it was not stable. And since last year, I was never able to watch anything through XiaoMi box again.As I felt desperate and I came across this device on Amazon. Once I got it, I eagerly give it a try. The setup is quite easy. It supports both WIFI and ethernet port. And although there are not as much as icons as XiaoMi has. It is actually less confusing to me. (Basically I used GoliveTV to watch live TV and New QuickVideo to watch movie/Drama series. ) The play quality is pretty good and I can rarely feel the lags.Anyway, I guess I will have a lot of movies/TV series to catch up in the next couple of months.

The manufacturer didn't seem to follow the guidelines on how to map the remote control. The "up" button for this device's remote is the same signal as the "Home" button for TCL Roku TVs, which makes this device useless if you're using it was a TCL TV. Every time you try to change the channel "up", or program the WiFi, the TV will kick you out to the TCL TV's home and you won't be able to complete the action with the device.Beyond that, it's the usual story with these devices: cheap construction, long lag in remote response, poor ergonomics. It works (if you don't have a TCL TV, at least), but it has all the little annoyances of this type of device. Unable to actually choose the "Show Password" option when entering a WiFi password, which combined with the remote control lag means you'll be entering a complicated WiFi password multiple times. No option to switch to English, so if you can't do the setup yourself and your younger relative doesn't read Chinese, there'll be a lot of translating.If you don't have a TCL TV, if you're looking for the cheapest (of many cheap) options, this might work for you, but in a category of devices that have a lot of annoying flaws, this one takes the cake.

So far I like the programming, there are enough channels. The only thing is, I bought it under the impression that it's going to be free programming, but it looks like it's only free for a year?

Don‘t like it. But actually，I must say that the customer service is good. Even though they forgot to ship the battery to me，they also nicely shipped it to me for free after contracting them. But I think it has a few programes to watch. So I am in a little bit disappointment.

That tiny black box sitting at the foot of my tv is doing magic. I bought it so that when my family visit they can have as many shows to watch as they were in China. But beyond those Chinese channels, I also got BBC, Japanese and Korean channels, together with many other options I am yet to explore! I had some problem setting up but now it’s solved thanks to the customer service.

Well the box came on time and seems well constructed..my main problem was how to setup from Chinese to English and thanks to google translate photo could make the switch..after a few minutes began to update for never to finish..so i am sending it back I tried to replace the item but the only option is to return not to replace soo I will return tomorrow and will go for the xiaomi box ..the seller is hard to reach and the little info is all in Chinese..

I saw this TV box before from my Chinese friend. In order to entertain my parents, I order one before Chinese New Year. Surprisingly it works very well. There are so many Chinese channels and movies from China, Taiwan, HK, and others. We are happy having this one setup. I would recommend to friends.

Have received the product for about one week. Pretty easy to set up. Has everything I want to watch, especially the soccer games. Also with free one year membership for lots of HD channels.
