Solid Bare Copper Round Wire 5 Oz Spool Half Hard 12 to 30 Ga (16 Ga - 43 Ft)

I felt like I should write a review, as this wire really exceeded my expectations. Most other vendors are selling enameled or clear-coated wire - which is useless for electrical applications or those where an artist is looking for a patina to develop over time.I'm in the former camp and am completely satisfied with the purchase. I tested the surface resistance right away with a quality meter and verified that it's nice and electrically clean. It also has a nice firmness that makes it easy to work with and solder up. The wire comes in a heat-sealed plastic bag, which I'm sure was intended to prevent corrosion. That certainly worked, as the wire is bright and shiny.The only small thing is that the wire is very tightly wound so it naturally springs out as soon as you use any of it. However, that really wasn't a big problem at all. I added a couple zip ties (see photos) and that completely took care of that little issue.If I ever have the need for the same or similar wire, I'll definitely be checking out this seller before any others. Highly recommend. Thanks.

There is quite a lot of wire on the spindle you get from this & it's of great quality. Works well for weaving for wire jewelry pieces.

I use this for braiding and hammering out copper jewelry. If you want something more bendy get a smaller guage

As an artists who makes art from wire I found this copper wire (24g) to be excellent. It works well when I am creating and I am especially pleased with how much wire I received at a really good price. Way better than purchasing any wire from Michaels, which is highly marked up.

This wire is easy to use and looks really nice on projects. I use it in my wire wrapping and it does beautifully.

I bought 4 spools of bare copper wire from this company. The other three spools were just fine, in new shiny condition. However, the 24 ga. wire was already tarnished and felt corroded, with a rough feel in some places, and a film of white powder. I thought I could work with this, but I just don't think I can do it...there is too much that is tarnished. Sorry to give it one star, it could change later perhaps.
