Sent old version
We got this lock because of the reviews, we were pretty excited about it. We received the lock and started installing and quickly came across many difficulties. The box did not come with clear instructions. The attachment part that sits over your original lock didn’t fit our lock and was way too big. We tried to make it work but the mechanism just kept slipping out. We finally got it to stay with sliding a piece in between. After playing that the lock would not connect to our phones and come to find out by the customer service reps. We were sent the old version and we had to uninstall and send back to either get a refund or repurchase.We did not repurchase after that.

Disappointing
Deal-breaker level loud. Also it did not work reliable with homekit which was the whole reason I bought it. Would say locked in homekit when I’m staring at it and it didn’t do anything. For something like a front door lock, it has to work reliable 100% of the time or it isn’t good enough for us. The search continues.

No More "Hide A Key"
I like that I can control this lock from my phone! I can open my door before I get out of my car, and not try to deal with looking in my purse for my keys.If somebody forgets to put "the hide a Key" back, I still can open the door!!!

Awesome for moms with young kids!
This lock is amazing and I highly recommend it to all moms with young children. I have a 3 year old and a newborn so my hands are always full lugging a car seat, diaper bag, etc. Having the door unlock as I approach it is a life saver. I don’t have to put everything down and fish for my keys while also keeping an eye on my high energy son.It was easy to install and the App runs great on my iPhone. I also love that from the outside of the door there is no way to know that the Friday home lock is installed on the door. It looks just like a regular lock!
