Learn how to mount the scope and you're GTG.
This is a very lightweight, but sturdy mount. The most common complaint is easily solved. If you're looking for a lightweight mount, don't hesitate. My biggest negative is nit... with 3 rail mount screws, you won't be able to bridge the gap between your upper rail and hand guard, if that is what you need or want. For me in slots T14, T16 and T18.I don't know why people buy this really lightweight mount, then put a heavy scope on it, but that's your choice. It will work great with your 17 oz. Primary Arms or Vortex, but I prefer the 11 oz. Leupold. There are quite a few complaints about the design pulling your scope off level when installing. Here's how I solved this:Attach the mount to your rail and torque the 3 mounting bolts. I use about 25 inch pounds, & blue Loctite if the scope is staying on this rifle.Mount your gun in a vise and verify it's level. Attach the scope and level it, but do NOT torque the screws. Mark the scope position in the mount wth a very thin line. on both, scope & mount. I use a pencil. Then torque the scope ring bolts to 15 inch pounds. The scope will usually cant a small amount. Mark the scope where it no lines up with the original pencil mark on the mount. Measure the distance. Loosen the scope rings, dial in the measured amount of cant by turning your scope in the opposite direction, and re-torque the bolts to 15 inch pounds. Your scope should turn the same amount as before, but because of the offset you dialed in, should now be level with your rifle. If you use this mount and the Leupold (or similar) scope, congratulations, you just saved yourself 1/2 pound over a Vortex scope & mount or a Primary Arms scope & mount. I have both of those scopes and their good, just not very light. Ounces equal pounds and pounds equal pain if your hunting the mountains. I like less weight...so does my wife.

Where have you been my whole life!?
I have bought a *ton* of scope mounts in my day. Leopold, Weaver, Nikon, Burris, you name it. I've also tried about three or four combined mounts like this for my flattop AR-15s, AR-10s, LR-308s, an AR-50, and a Barrett. But for my needs in .308 and .223, this Ultralight is the one. There is a quote attributed to Albert Einstein that says, "Everything Should Be Made as Simple as Possible, But Not Simpler." I think that really applies to scope mounts. Why have a ton of extra metal? Extra weight? Giant bolts? Sharp angles? I have no idea. I'm looking to build a lean, mean, fighting machine. This mount is dialed-in and truly streamlined. It's got lines like a prize fighter or sports car. It's got no extra fat, all the edges have been rounded and smoothed, and the finish is a gorgeous and durable matte. They even include a nice Torx tool which was a pleasant surprise.Honestly, I had a little trouble figuring out which configuration to get and that was a bit confusing and frustrating. They currently have three models with different offsets. However, I think for my needs this one is best. But if you like to push your scope farther forward for more eye relief or for clearance of the charging handle, they make mounts with a more dramatic offset.I swear I don't work for this company, and I didn't get a discount or credit for writing this review. I'm gushing because this mount is Greased Lightning.

Used for Primary Arms 1-6x gen 3
I used this to mount my Primary Arms 1-6x Gen 3 scope. So, if you look into how this mount works, the two halves are connected at the top with a hook-like connector. Without the other halves connected, this mount will hug the scope nice and tight so when you hook in the other halves, you don't end up over-tightening the bottom screws. It's pretty satisfying. The mount attaches to standard picatinny rails (I have a Colt AR) securely with ease. There was no real need to fiddle around with anything other than making sure the scope was level - super easy to set up (~5 min). My back up iron sight (magpul) fits nicely under the rear of the sight and does not impede functionality of the scope. It comes with one tool for all the bolts on it. The mount is super-light; about a few ounces - that important because my optic is around 15 ounces (weight mitigation is important). Compared to other mounts, this is very good. If you couldn't already tell, the fit and finish is superb. So it isn't quick detach - whatever. Keep the tool it came with inside your pistol grip with a few cotton balls.

Awesome scope mount
Very secure and sturdy, light weight mount. Aero always has made quality at their price point. Using it for a Vortex strike eagle mounted to a BCM Recce 16. no movement no issues. Love the torx tool included with the mount.

Super lightweight and solid.
I run a few of these in 30mm and 1", in all three offsets. Best product for the money. Looks good, works great. Super lightweight. Only catch is keeping the scope level when tightening rings due to the "sideways" set up. After you've done it once it's no longer an issue. My go to.
