Excellent grip and protection from hot or sharp surfaces (rocks, asphalt, etc.)
Pros:- Grip inside and out. Awesome for older dogs who start to slip inside due to neurodegeneration, muscle wasting, or other causes of decreased motor control.- Simple to put on and remove- My dog tolerated them surprisingly well, right away the first time he wore them.- Reflection and bright color options for safety when walking near/on roads as light dims.- High valueCons:- Velcro can come off the shoe while cleaning- Fit can be challenging to dial in. For my dog, the right paw pad size was on a shoe size where the upper was too wide / large of a diameter to effectively close and remain closed. There's a point when it sinches no further and the two sides meet for its maximum closure.- Caution if you plan on having them worn for extended periods of time, the upper can irritate your dog's foot where the Velcro straps constrict to keep the shoes on. I feel like there's probably a way to improve this via design. In the seller's defense, they're not made nor advertised to wear around the clock.- No pad at the bottom of the shoe. Human shoes have padded insoles to provide cushioning for support and comfort. This shoe goes from interior fabric directly to the outside hard rubber. I used some old insoles I was using, cur out the right size for the inside of the bottom of the foot pad, and simply glued them in using shoe glue. Depending upon the insole, this can remove a fair bit of room for your dog's foot to naturally articulate through it's organic mechanics. If you plan on doing this, order one or two sizes up, try it without glueing to confirm size fit with insole, then glue 👌🏽- Shoe wears very quickly when washed (gentle cycle cold) in a washing machine. I advise hand washing only. Makes sense for the Velcro too.Great product I've purchased for my other dogs too. I would recommend buying if you have the need. Total game changer for elderly dogs who slip on tile or wood floors.

Dog Shoes
I had a horrible time getting the shoes on the dog, she didn't like them, she would kick them off quickly, so not tight enough around the ankles to stay on, perhaps I needed a smaller size, don't think can return them though. But I like the color. I will try it another time as it would be nice to protect her feet when running on the pavement, especially during the hotter days.

Good fitting and durable
I have a disabled dog who is in a wheelchair and while he can walk, his feet drag so we had to find something to protect them. These shoes are so durable, they protect his feet from the dragging and they fit so well that they don't fall off. Big recommend. These make my daily life with my disabled dog so much better!

Dog Shoes
My dog was wearing another brand. However, after a few months they are busted. Another poodle owner told me to buy these. I’ll purchase another pair, so we can have two. FYI, my standard is 70lbs and I purchased a size 7.

It didn't work for my dog. It might work for yours.
It didn't work for my dog. Seller worked out an easy refund process. It might work for yours.I take my dog to snow hikes and he's used to wearing boots. I put these on him and tested them for a whole day. He wouldn't walk unless he had to, the whole time. It sometimes takes a couple hours to get used to new boots but he wouldn't walk the whole time. I know for a fact that they are his size. I measured his paws on a piece of paper. And I felt his paws in the boots. The problem is the many design flaws on the boots.starting from top to bottom; the very top of the boots don't close up all the way so if your dog get in the snow elbow deep, all that snow will go into the boots. the same thing with dirt. there will definitely be small rocks inside the boots at the end of the day which will have bothered your pup all that time.the middle gray fabric part that collects in the middle after tightening the velcro is way too big. it collects so much that it puts too much pressure on the front of the dog's elbows.the boots are too tall. the very top part pushes against the thumb of the paw.the gray part with truelove embroided on in the front of the boots are too long and hard (that's what she said?) that they push against the top of the dog's paws.

revised review
The bottoms started wearing away within the week. I would have returned them but missed the window.Edit: the company reached out and offered to send a new pair of boots, no questions asked. I took the offer thinking maybe the boots I received initially were defective and that seems to be the case. They don’t have the same wear down and tear as the previous did. I’d buy them again. If you get a bad pair, just reach out to the company.

Great for protecting and old dog's feet
Our standard poodle has a neurologic condition that makes her stumble a lot. These boots have been the best solution for giving her traction on our wood floors and for protecting her feet on walks. She has a lot of foot drop when she walks, so she'd scrape the tops of her knuckles and sometimes would be bleeding so much I'd have to carry her home. The shoes are wearing through - as you can see, we're moving to her third set now as the second set is wearing through. But otherwise she would be wearing through her toes instead. She is very old and losing muscle tone, but she still wants to go on walks and these boots let her do it. She condition is progressive; eventually we will probably have to get her a cart. But these are keeping her mobile in the meantime. I check her feet at least twice a day (when donning and doffing the boots) and they look so much healthier than before. Last weekend, I was able to give her a nail trim and they all looked healthy! Before, she was constantly breaking her claws, and we'd be cleaning her blood off the floor. Thanks to these shoes, no more bleeding feet! She's a small standard, about 45 lbs before she started losing muscle mass. She wears size 6 and they fit her beautifully.

These are awesome
These boots are awesome. Been buying muttluks for $60-$70 until I found these. The rubber on the sole isn't thick and hard which I've always found to be silly on dog boots. So unnatural for them. They stay in place really well even on dogs that are playing hard. Like any dog boot they need to be done up tight, which sometimes irritates the dew claws, but there's no getting away from that. Socks on the front paws as well help. These boots are great and I will buy them again and recommend to anyone asking.

Not good for Canadian winter
Got boots end of October and started to use them 1 month ago. Now with all the snow here in Ottawa and salt on the streets the booties are falling apart. The sole came off and leather coating peels off too. Size 6 fit well my dog but a quality boot should last longer than that!
