Design Toscano Asian Dragon Walking Stick, 35 Inch, Silver

This cane is great. Solid, handmade piece of work.

It is 100% amazing. While it does lack in some details from the cane actually used in Dark Shadows,the heft and amazing craftsmanship really makes you feel like the 200 year old barnabas collins. It comes fully assembled and has a beautiful shine on the handle that resembles pure silver. The cane shaft is good solid wood with a beautiful laquor and finish. It is rubber tipped and is the perfect height for someone of my stature (I am five foot five inches). I own the costume replica of the dark shadows cane and this is far better for a far better price. To all those fans of collinwood,this is a must own product. Dan curtis would be proud.

Absolutely beautiful. Very solid. I can easily see myself knee-capping a mugger with this. I bought this despite the negative reviews because I thought it was pretty enough to give it a try. I'm glad I did. To my eyes it looks as straight as a ruler. I checked it against a yardstick (which you would hope would be straight) and there is a slight, un-noticeable bow the length of the stick. It does not affect performance in any way, and as I mentioned it is un-noticeable to the eye. I cannot speak to what those who gave negative reviews received, but I can state that I would certainly recommend this walking stick to any of my friends or family.

Very disappointing. Even though the cane was new, it appeared very dirty, nasty, with scratches on the head, scratches on the wood of the cane. There appeared to be some rust inside the mouth of the wolf head. I think even a very thorough cleaning and polishing would still leave this cane in very disappointing condition. I own a number of Toscano items, and it is surprising how very poor the condition of this cane is compared to other items from that company. I would strongly advise against getting it. I believe the packaging said it came from India. Perhaps Toscano outsourced this to some inept third-party? In any case, it is not worth any more than probably $19.99 given its shockingly poor quality and condition.It also does not look as much like the "Barnabas cane" in person as in the image. It just feels wrong and off. It might be okay for a one-off, cheap Halloween effort, but for anything else, save your money and get the real cane ($400+) or do without. I would return this cane, but fear being penalized by Amazon as a problem customer. This cane is just as disappointing as other reviews make it appear to be.I will note that this cane also is not designed for day to day use, as the packaging states, and as I think most people would assume anyway, but this does bear pointing out.

I became somewhat paranoid when a medical condition required me to use a cane/walking stick. I noticed how people looked at me when they saw me walking with a cane. Their staring made me uncomfortable. A co-worker suggested I get a cane that took the attention to a level of a conversation piece. The Sphinx can relates to a brotherhood I'm a member of, so I decided to purchase it. I have gotten hundreds of compliments about how fashionable and unique it is. It's a great walking stick. I wish I could find another one similar to it.

I am so in love with my new cane! I have rheumatoid arthritis and so walking can be very difficult at times. I’m only 32 and walking with a cane can really mess with my mind. But having this beautiful cool bad a** cane really helps my spirit and obviously helps me walk better. I LOVE MY BABY!

I love it but it Took forever to get here at my house …

After less than two weeks using it, the handle seems to be coming loose. My old cane that cost only one tenth as much may not look as nice, but it was a better deal.It is now two months since I wasted my money on this junk, and the loose handle fell off. Definitely not worth the money, even for a fraction of the price.

It was as pictured and arrived in good shape.

Very nice and sharp looking. The stick it much longer than the average cane. It is not adjustable, if you are a shorter person this may feel a bit awkward to walk around with.

PERFECT

I have hurt my knee and it aches for last year and a half, so this actually helps take pressure off the knee, allowing it to heal. Not saying the pain goes away, you just feel better. The stick is not used to hold my whole body up, but it helps push away from the pain and I use stick to punt myself along the path, etc.Also it looks really good, love the Cobra head, great. A true work of art...
