Like a Windy Day

My daughter (2) loves this book. She has been somewhat sensitive to the wind for more than 6 months (like cries during a gentle breeze on a 90 degree day) but I thought embracing the wind thru books would be worth a try before starting some kind of therapy. She loves this book and between it and a few other things we're doing, she doesn't seem as sensitive. It shows all the cool things wind can do and why the little girl wants to be like the wind. There are a few silly things she likes to point out thru the book, like when the wind steals Santa's hat or blows clothes (including a bra) off the clothes line. Maybe not a new classic, but definitely a sweet book.

I loved Like a WIndy Day, my kids loved Like A Windy Day. We took this book outside to read together at the park and it was perfect. The story is so creative, makes you want to jump up and start playing with the wind. I loved how much fun and how happy the girl is in this book. Smiles all around as the wind played stealing hats, wiping sheets, blowing leaves. The illustrations were beautiful!!! Must read

I bought a series of books about the wind after my daughter developed a strong fear of the wind after a bad storm. This book was lovely, showing a broad range of things the wind does, and a girl enjoying the thought of them all. Beautifully illustrated, simple text, and just what I was seeking in regards to the sentiment of the book!

This is a very good story. The children enjoyed the story and we always do an extension of the story activity. This book was a gift and it was stolen from me. I had to order it because the children liked the story.

Great story but very disappointed that the pages were stuck together. When I ordered another copy the pages were stuck together on that one too!!

At our preschool we have themes throughout the year, this particular book is used for the weather theme. Pictures are great and easy understood by 3 to 4 year olds.

My kid loves these books. Beautiful pictures and a great short story.
