Bluegrass Perfected
This is a superb, Bill Monroe-on-steroids, version of fiery bluegrass instrumental. It's amazing to see what the second generation of great bluegrass players had absorbed from the first and what the recorded-music era allowed people to learn. These guys take such impossible tempos and still play the music with real feeling and sensitivity. It's very difficult to imagine a group of acoustic players doing this music any better, although I'm curious to see what someone like Christ Thile and cohorts might do with similar repertoire some day.

The Bluegrass Album Band album 6 arrived in excellent time; the CD is in good playing condition. This was a fantastic instrumental recording by extraordinary musicians. I already had the first five CDs and was glad to add this one to my collection. This CD would be a great item for anyone who appreciates precise bluegrass music.

The Bluegrass Album Band is like no other. Top quality musicians who have or play in other bands got together for an amazing journey in bluegrass. They have thrilled fans and other musicians for more than 30 years.

Best Bluegrass Instrumentals
This is one of my very favorite bluegrass instrumental albums. The musicians are some of the very best on their instruments. I play this album a lot and if you like bluegrass, you will too!

Good Traditional Bluegrass cd. Well played and good to listen to. However like on most cds some tracks are better than others,depending your likes and dislikes.

大物の共演
２５年ほど前に１、２、３とのヴィニール盤を手に入れたがCDとしてはこれが始めてだ。音質がイイおかげでトニーライスの鳥肌モノのものすごいGランが良く聞こえる。もちろんバックに回ったときのJ・Dクロウもさすがである。ドブロも名手のダグラスだし、マンドリンがジミー・グドローかグリスマンあたりだったらもっとおもしろい演奏（こと）になったのではないかとおもうが、これ以上のメンバーを集めてCD化するにはさすがにむりがあるだろう。デヴィッド・グリスマンだったら、ハーブ・ペダースンを擁した名盤のHere todayもある。終盤のモンローズホーンパイプ以降は鳥肌モノのプレイが続く（フォギー・マウンテン・チャイムはhere todayのほうがイイ）。もちろんボビー・ヒックスとヴァッサー・クレメンツのダブルフィドルが鳥肌の重要な原因なのは言うまでもない。

良い音楽の見本
良い音楽というのは、どんなジャンルでも聴いてみれば良く感じられます。ブルーグラスやカントリーが好きでなくてもこのアルバムは良いと判断されるでしょう。
