I was skeptical at how cheap this carburetor was but decided to give it a try. I Put it on and I couldn't believe how good my Echo trimmer ran. But after I used it a while, it wouldn't start. I adjusted the carb and finally got it where it would start and run okay, but not like it did initially. I used it to finish the job I was doing and put it away. Yesterday I got it out and tried to start it and the engine was seized. I suppose the mixture was set too lean and it overheated the engine. I am responsible for the adjustment of the mixture, but I set it to where it ran the best. A blown engine is the result, so be mindful if you buy one of these.

Took the hassle out of rebuilding the old carb. Came with all parts, including the tubing and rubber grommet to fuel tank. My old one leaked bad. The provided bracket and linkage was slightly different. The bracket was threaded where throttle cable connects, just removed one lock nut from cable and threaded cable in. Plenty of spare parts for future needs are included. The primer bulb is much thicker than the one I replaced last year. Should last longer. Trimmer fired right up after I changed my old fouled plug with one provided. Well worth the $18 to have my trimmer working with better fuel efficiency due to the new hoses and grommet.

Fit perfectly on my Echo backpack blower. I had issues getting my old blower to turn over. Given how cheap this was, I don’t know why I even spent time trying to clean the old carb.It was easy to install and fired up right away after installation. Really happy I didn’t have to screw with it to make it work properly!

Have the echo with gray accents, think that might be a slightly older model but idk. Was given this leaf blower bc it did not work, but it had compression and spark and fired on ether so I rolled the dice on this carb kit. This is a lot for your money. Throttle had male threads (echo) and new carb has female threads so I had to drill out the female threads to get the adjustment to work but thats no big deal. Primed it and boom, first pull up and running. As far as the fuel ratio goes it runs slightly fat out of the box but that is safe and with these running 50/1 I kept it there, don't want to seize a piston. Over all, pretty well bolt up affair with great results for the price.

Carb fit but rest of parts do not fit Shindawa T242. Plug, gasket, airfilter are all for another model.I had just planned to swap carb and leave rest of parts on trimmer. The metal tube for fuel are to small for the existing fuel line. I had to use the new lines with gas tank plug. The plug is to small and gas seeps around it. I had to wrap in in PTFE.The carb worked as expected. Cranked up easy and just a bit adjustment to the mixture and idol.

The description of the carburetor was accurate. It fit well the only thing I had to change was the throttle cable bracket. After installing and priming the carb the engine started on the second pull ran and idle fine.

As a small engine technician, I appreciate having replacement parts within 24hrs and get machines working. I like saving my customers money instead of getting a Carb from Echo or other part suppliers because the mark up is way too highI was impressed with the contents of the kit and the excellent value!! will purchase again

echo ptt-260 direct replacement , the saw was cold natured bad , this carb was adjustable on the high speed jet , woke saw up made it sweet to use
