Very poor build quality prevents you from adjusting it properly rendering it USELESS!! Go with another brand!

Challenging for beginners, but gets the job done (eventually)
As someone with no prior experience installing carpet, I found this tool very difficult to use. It took me four hours to cut a 12x10 room, and even then, the cuts weren’t perfect. The carpet kept getting stuck, which made the process frustrating.That said, it did get the job done in the end, but I wouldn’t recommend this for beginners or anyone who isn’t prepared for a learning curve. If you’re experienced, it might work better for you, but for me, it was more trouble than expected.

The quality appears to good but !?
It doesn't want to work if you are trying to just trim the carpet to make room for new base boards !I would like to return it if at all possible.
