COBI Historical Collection Douglas C-47 Skytrain Dakota

My 10 year old grandson is a World War II aircraft nut so he was thrilled to get this. He had some challenges putting it together and a few things he had to take a part a few times. The instructions are good but I would say not as good as Lego as far as clarity. He did finally get it together and he’s thrilled with it and I’m thrilled that he’s thrilled.

It was a Christmas present for my 13 y/o nephew- he loved it and put it together Christmas morning in 2 hours!! He loves his planes 😊

Model was accurate and bricks hold tight. Better than Lego. Take your time. Instructions are clear but it's easy to make a mistake. Took 5 hours... had a lot of fun building. NO missing parts.Cobi is doing it right offering models appealing to all ages. This is the 5th Cobi model and have been very pleased with all.

My son really liked this plane. It was pretty easy to assemble but my 11 yr old with adhd had trouble starting the build on the wings but after the second layer of blocks on them he had no trouble. Sturdy enough to play with after it is built.

I purchased this Lego plane set for my 13 year old grandson and he loved it. He put it together one handed because of a right broken arm.

The build went fairly well until my son attempted the tail section. We have taken it apart and redone it 3 plus times . The wings required 2 tried.It comes apart in his hands as he is trying to add the tail.It seems like the tail needed to have been more solidly constructed in the build plan.The directions can be confusing at times.Not quite as clear as competitors.Definitely not a sturdy build even for a teen who is quite experienced in lego block builds.
