Hard rock candy
This product was just okay. I thought the Asian writing looked cool. However some people seemed hesitant to eat it. One person made a comment that it looked like it could be illicit drugs (no buzz but not the vibe I was going for). To me it tasted like small amounts of hard rock candy. Each packet had approximately 15 small pieces. Included a photo of a pouch next to a nickel for size comparison. Probably won’t buy again because it’s more expensive than what ai typically put in my candy dish.

These are awesome!!
Tasted pretty good, but didn’t expect the blue flavor being minty! The green is pretty good though, I love these, and realized they were from spirited away when I looked at the reviews! The texture was almost like stars if that makes sense? There are plenty of flavors, and the quality is amazing, and they came wrapped with a lot of plastic, so they are very packed. They are also so cute!!! If you don’t want tiny ones, that’s something to keep in mind, though.

Wonderful Hanatsume Kompeito! When you need just a little sweet treat!
This, Hanatsume Kompeito candy is wonderful! Each color has it’s own subtle flavor that is not overpowering. It reminds me of other flower candy I’ve tried, but of all of these, this is the best. The texture of this is basically a rock candy type. I will purchase again.

Love
Literally the BEST! love that they're individually wrapped for freshness. If you don't like normal American rock candy you won't like these. They are a slightly softer mini version of that. However I do, and these are lightly flavored on the outside. The flavors I have been able to pick up on are plain unflavored/ MAYBE plum for purple, a cumber mint for the blue green, watermelon for the pink green, mandarin pineapple for the orange, yellow, pink pack, and honeydew melon for the green/yellow pack,ENJOY! I sure have been

Cute tiny candies, unusual and distinctive for the US
Each little blob is smaller than a pinky fingernail, with soft pastel colors and no particular flavor besides sugar. The small packs would make them disappointing Halloween handouts, but good for an after dinner mint style arrangement at a large party or to give kids a treat without having them go completely mad with a sugar rush or ruining their appetite for real food not much later. Made in Japan, where food laws are pretty stringent and strongly enforced, so you shouldn't need to worry about unhealthy colourings or contaminants.

Great candy for goody bags
The media could not be loaded. Delicious and colorful konpeito. Made great little candy pouches for a kid's party goody bag! Emptied about 2-3 pouches to fill a little candy jar.

Really Good
Like tiny rock candy. The different colors do have different flavors. The orange is a light orange flavor, the purple is a light grape flavor, the pink just tastes like standard pink sugar stuff, and the yellow, green and blue I'm not quite sure. I think maybe a melon flavor, or maybe pineapple or even a faint banana. All the flavors are mostly sugar and less fruit. Good for me as I don't like melon, pineapple, and banana, but still eat all the colors because it's really just sugar taste. I'm unsure about the white and lighter pinks and purples too. Mostly just sugar taste. Hope this helps someone. I never had it before but if you like rock candy, sugar cake decorations, and things like that, you'll probably love this. They're super small, but that kind of adds to their awesomeness. Maybe 5mm in diameter for each ball thing? Or like 1/4" for non metric people.
