I bought this product to go with some of my more lemon scented perfumes (like Xerjoff Lira and Shalimar Souflee) and I absolutely love it. It's very subtle and compliments these perfumes perflectly but also smells great on its own. It's definitely a more gourmand smelling lemon lotion than a cleaning product lemony smell. Plus, it's a great moisturizer as well

Smell is great but it's kind of greasy and won't rub into the body easily. The most annoying is that the bottle cap won't press in to dispense the cream. You have to unscrew the cap totally.

I had purchased the hand cream version of this in the past and absolutely adore the scent. It's like the most delicious lemony cream cake, but without the calories! ;) Some others have commented that they think it smells chemical-ish, but I don't find that to be the case at all. Smells to me exactly like a real freshly served lemon dessert. However, I know people have different scent receptors and interpret things differently. I'm not the type who is normally very sensitive to scents (in other words they don't usually aggravate me or give me a headache as they do some people), but if you are HIGHLY sensitive, just keep in mind that this definitely does have a strong level of fragrance (in my book that's a good thing because it smells amazing).The hand cream I had bought before smells identical to the lotion, but is quite rich and thick. I actually almost found the hand cream too thick. This lotion on the other hand still has all the richness and creaminess of a body butter, but is just ever so slightly thinner so it glides on effortlessly. It is by no means thin or watery though! Very luxurious and hydrating, but not greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple. It's also a huge bottle you get for the price. I keep it by my bedside and mostly use it as a hand lotion in the evenings before I go to bed so I can soak in the yummy fragrance and let my hands soak in all that moisture as I sleep. A little goes a long way and I can tell this large bottle is going to last a long time. I absolutely love it (even more than the hand cream which I didn't think was possible). Both the scent and the results on my skin are 5 stars all the way!

The lotion feels good on the skin, absorbs well, and smells wonderful.
