Really works quite well.
I put this on my vespa motor scooter. May seem silly from an outsider but this is a $8k scooter that is frequently and easily stolen. The device is sturdy and heavy - it has a large battery and an even larger magnet. This thing magnets itself to metal with a healthy thud - not going anywhere. Also has two screw holes if you want to attach it to non metal, or you can always use double sided tape. I did the latter because I ended up attaching it to plastic. It can be powered by either the internal battery, external power, or a combination of both. The device is really designed to be charged up, and then stuck onto the bottom of a car and then later removed and charged. I am using it as a permanent solution so I have it permanently hard wired. I put a switch inline so I can disconnect it from the battery for any reason. It sits in my glove box and it has 3 wires going to it: 1) Power wire (+ and -), GPS antenna cable, 3) GSM antenna cable. The device also has internal GPS and GSM antennas you can use, but these reduce range. There is a switch that lets you switch between using internal or external antennas.I mounted both antennas under the horn cover so they actually get pretty good reception. Ran and zip tied the cables. Hooked up the power to the GTS alarm interface with a spst switch inline so I could remove power if necessary.Am using the H20 wireless SIM - best deal out there. Was a little tricky to set-up but eventually get it working in GSM mode and I can locate my scooter via either SMS text or the app using data. Both work equally as well. The device has several functioning modes: always on, which keeps the gps and gsm constantly connected. IF running off the internal battery you're only looking at a couple days of battery life but you will constantly know where it is instantly. There is a "sleep by shock" mode that shuts off the GPS antenna and puts the GSM antenna into low activity mode but keeps the shock sensor on, so if it senses any kind of shock it will wake up, locate itself, and text you that it felt a shock and where it is. It will also let you know battery life and some other stats. This extends life to over a week, and you can still text it at any point and wake it up.There is a "deep sleep by shock" that extends battery life to several weeks, but this cannot be woken up via SMS text as it completely shuts off all radios. Will only wake up if shocked. It has all kinds of useful settings too. If it suddenly loses GPS location it can automatically text you its last known location. It can text you if it goes above a certain speed, or outside a set radius, or moves at all, or approaches a particular address.Basically, it actually works really well, especially considering the price and there is no monthly fee other than just paying for the H20 SMS text credits. Very happy with it. Feel free to ask me any questions

this is best plus no monthly fees.
the tk102 is good but battery only last one day. This 104b has strong magnet better accuracy and the battery will last 4 plus days with heavy tracking. i have bought a few other brands including adding extra battery to extend my 102 to last 7 days. this is the best.

Works great. Chinenglish instructions are hard to understand but can be figured out. It's really accurate when you use the external antennas. Less so with internal, I attached it with the magnet to my frame by the gas tank and it told me within 100 ft. where it was.

Great device and lasted for weeks!
Upon Arrival I just charged it completely and pop a SIM card and put it in my kids car. Now I don't worry about where she's going.
