I always buy compostable/recyclable products when I can, so these seemed like a good idea, but they are super fragile because of their composition. They are long to use for bar straws so I tried to shorten them by cutting with sharp scissors. They “shattered” at the bottom so they are useless. The rest I left whole.

I have been buying these straws for over a year and never had a problem. This last batch I received was flimsy, broke apart before even hitting a drink, I had to throw 60% of them away because they collapsed.

What can you say for a sturdy compost able straw? We love our straws and hate the metal ones that hit our teeth, the silicone ones that have an after taste after washing, or the soggy paper ones that do t hold up. These are great and just like plastic ones, only much better for the environment. Also love the multiple colors so we can all tell our drinks apart!

These are great straws! It is so hard to find the exact colors we wanted without getting yucky ones thrown in. We were surprised at the quality for the price. They are very strong, not flimsy like so many others and being enviromently friendly is a real plus! As you can see from the pictures, we keep them on the counter handy for drinking and using as swizzle sticks! We definitely recommend them and you can't beat them at this price! Thanks Webake!
