the bass!
These headphones posses tremendous bass while still being detailed in the mid and upper registers. Thank the dual driver design for this. The result is pretty incredible. The bass really feels impactful in a way that I haven't heard from music in a very long time. But it is never flabby or sloppy. It is really controlled while also being very deep and impactful. It is really something. It is actually a lot like how bassists in real life bands play live.I have listened to a number of headphones over the years. Compared to the Shure SE215, this one wins on sound quality, but it loses on everything else, from construction, durability, and ergonomics. The cable seems really flimsy and thin, really easy to break. There is a fair amount of pressure necessary for these headphones and they pop out from time to time. But the bass! It is amazing bass. I'm actually not used to bass like this, so it feels weird and is a little tiring. Bass this deep in live shows usually hits me down to the sternum, but seeing as how these are just earphones that can't be.

A steal for dual-drivers!
I was looking for a replacement set of earbuds after my skullcandy Titans stopped working. I did a lot of research online for a bass heavy earbud and came across an article the mentioned NM earbuds as a good set of earbuds for the money. After a few months of use i can say that the NM's are not as bass heavy as my skullcandy BUT they are much cleaner. Keep in mind the skullcandys sacrificed quality for quantity. The NM's bass is all there even into the lower register and heavy but very clean and would probably assume thats because of the dual-drivers. Highly recommended.

THEY ACTUALLY ARE BETTER THAN BEATS!
I own the R1M's and love them. I bought the S1's too. They exceeded all my expectations in this price range. These are no different. They are solidly constructed. They come with a nice case, and basic fit kit (S,M,L, and double flange) of silicone tips. They do a good job of sealing outside noise out with the right fit. I bought monster gel super tips and got an excellent seal. The sound is warm and full bodied with no distortion even at higher volumes. The bass is very good but does not overpower the mids or highs. The microphone works fine on my Galaxy Note 4 (android 5 os). They are very comfortable for long term listening. This company needs to make a 3 and 4 driver model. I will buy those too. I own some very expensive Polk, Klipsch, Shure, Harmon Kardon, Sony, and Yamaha, earbuds. Lately there are a lot of very good competitors in this price range. These are a steal at 45.00 and easily match or outperform many of the name brand products I own. I don't just listen to music, I watch movies, and game as well. These are up to all that I do. Now if they go for the audiophile with 3 or 4 drivers and detachable cables the competing companies will be in trouble. These earbuds are not cheaply built. They are of solid construction. I did not find the mid range suffered as some other reviewers. I have been using them with lossless mp3 players, Google Tunes, an IPOD, a Note 4, and Note Tab S, I have also used them with an amp and in each instance observed solid performance. They absolutely do not need an amp. The difference is measurable but barely noticeable. They are detailed without it. If you adjust your equalizer the sound will be fine for your preferences. Use your SAMSUNG ADAPTIVE SOUND for great results. I've tried many others but keep coming back to these earbuds.

Bad buttons.
Sound quality seems pretty good but...Gave it one star because the buttons for volume/play/pause seem broken after two days of using these. I only used them briefly and gently. They stopped working and now they keep pressing things on their own. It'll just turn my music down all of the way on its own or activate Google randomly etc. It's a shame. Will be returning.

Clear without being harsh, bassy without being muddy.
Awesome bass response and midrange clarity. No sibilance at all (harsh S's and T's), and very little, if any, distortion at high volume. Rock, rap, and metal all sound great through these. No cord noise, and sound is very well isolated. Soundstage is actually pretty broad, which isn't common with IEM's. The sound isn't crowded. Easily the best IEM's for the price.

Nice.
Some reviews say this is bass heavy. I do not find it so. It can support a good bass sound, but not overpowering. It has good separation of sounds and good clarity. I was very pleased with these. Build quality is OK. Sound quality gets it the 5 stars. I got it used from Amazon. Very good price for the quality.

Narmoo nails it again
Their dual driver earbuds by far are the best sound for the money, especially as a discerning music enthusiast. I can mix music with these amazing buds. Will buy again.

Just like the S1, just better!
I have the S1 headphones and love them. Wanted a second set and found these. They are just as great as the S1 except now they have a inline mic and full control with the buttons on the mic. Volume, pause, start, Siri also works if you hold the middle button. I returned my sennheiser 275s once these arrived at my house. Buy these headphones, you won't regret it.
