Bought this for an old belt driven table saw that had a failed power switch.This thing is great. Big STOP paddle. Well made switch. Saw plugs into it and it plugs into the wall.Only concern is the whole thing is plastic. And the diameter of the mounting holes is thing. Just fine if you use the bolts that come with it, but I wanted/needed to use different bolts.The paddle engages the stop switch nicely but the mechanism that disengages the in button is plastic. I foresee this failing over time(years).. for the price, I will happily replace it when that happens.Overall I am extremely happy with this and it got my saw up and running in a matter of minutes and it’s much safer than it used to be.

I use this on a table mounted portable band saw. Honestly, the table kits should come with these things. I had previously "rigged" up a string to pull on to release the Velcro strap that held the trigger down. This is so much better, works reliably, and is considerably safer. The stop paddle stays depressed keeping everything off until you lift it and press start. Install is as easy as screw it to the bench and plug it in. The cord is sufficiently long. The construction is tough enough to hold up in a mobile metal shop trailer. Overall perfect for that added bit of safety.

The switch seems to be heavy duty and is well sealed to keep saw dust out. I like that the ON button is recessed and takes a strong push to turn on my router. It would be very difficult to accidentally start the tool. The switch is physically larger than I expected and the OFF paddle is easy to find and use. I down graded my rating by one star because the word STOP is up side down on the actual push button. It was easy to turn over but should not have been wrong.

Updating my original one start review to five stars, after the seller got back to me within 12 hours (on a weekend, no less) and recommended I push the start button in harder than usual. Well, that definitely did the trick.Having used many router start/stops in the past, this one is different in that you need to put a good amount of effort into the initial start button push, until it makes a loud “CLICK” sound. I imagine this won’t be a bad thing once I’m used to it, and can even be described as a safety feature. Good news is that conversely, the STOP button is light as a feather to activate, which is what really matters.Thanks for the quick product support guys.

I built a table for an old and very powerful router. The switch on the router was funky and it was not easily accessed when the router was mounted in the table. Running the power through the Fulton switch gave me positive on/off control and I can switch it with my knee meaning I don't have to take a hand off the work-piece; a great enhancement to safety and convenience for a modest price.

I mounted my table saw into my workbench which meant the power switch was going to be difficult to reach but this works great. I mounted it to the side right in line with my knee so I can kill the power without the use of my hands.

I made a stand to use a portable bandsaw as a vertical saw. Since the only way to turn the saw on is the trigger switch I used a clamp to permanently pull the trigger. This paddle switch made it easy to make a remote switch to turn the saw on and off.

Like the large size, works great.The only thing that would be better is if it had a longer cord about 3 feet more at least for my shop
