It can be hard to find a good pair of reusable gloves, especially because I have naturally long nails. I bought this kit a little under a year ago because it was cheaper than going to Sally's and the gloves I was getting there consistently ripped where my nail would push through. * THESE GLOVES LASTED ME UNTIL A WEEK AGO! They finally ended up breaking because I got it caught on something semi sharp.So I ordered a whole new kit for the gloves since the cost is worth it and it doesn't hurt to have extra brushes and such. (I dye my hair and my friends hairs regularly.) The pair of gloves that came in my new set were a medium size though 😢 I used them and of course my nail broke it on first use because they were definitely too small for my hands. I checked and my old pair was definitely a size Large and it advertises a size large. So I contacted the company to let them know I was disappointed to get a smaller size pair of gloves. They responded in LESS THAN 24HRs and asked some questions and quickly were able to get a solution and will be sending me a new pair of large gloves. Very very happy with the quick and kind response.*100% recommend buying this set! It's worth it!*The trays are non-metal (like a plastic) which CAN be used for any standard dye (permanent or semi-permanent) and bleach.*The brushes are nothing special but they work. The bristles are firm so if you want something softer this isn't perfect, but the variety of sizes is nice.*The alligator clips are quite nice to have!*I'll be honest the ear covers kinda suck, but I'm not a fan or any ear covers personally. They never stay well and aren't worth the hassle generally.*THE GLOVES ARE WORTH THE COST OF THE WHOLE SET!I think that covers like all of it.. at least it covers how I've used it.Good company.Good product.Good price.If anything breaks I won't hesitate to buy it a 3rd time ❤️

I use this all the time, it has everything you need for a good at-home dye job. Easy to use, everything but the brushes can be fit inside the bowls so it's pretty easy to store, and it's lasted me years with no signs of wear or tear.

This is a good set for anyone looking for a kit to use for dyeing, tinting, straightening, and other salon processing needs. The pieces are well made and sturdy. While the kit was cheap, the pieces do not feel cheap. The bowls are big enough to hold product without it spilling out when being mixed. The bristles on the brushes are thick and are secured into the brush, they have not come loose or bent out of shape. They are easy to clean and dry. The clips are strong and sturdy and work well holding the hair in place. This set has been fine so far.

The gloves and the clips are the best items on here.The bowl is supposed to be "bigger" but it's really small and does not have the measuring lines on the inner part like most do.There's 2 plastic "capes" that come with it that would not even cover a child's body so i'm not sure if that's what they're used for.Overall the copious amount of brushes clips and gloves are worth the price but everything else pretty much sucks/useless.*note the gloves are supposed to be a large.I have small hands and they are tight on me.

I really love working with this set. The clips are sturdy and large, perfect for sectioning hair. The tinting brushes and bowls are easy to clean and I love the variety of brush sizes. The brush/comb combo was marvelously effective for me to smooth sections of hair I took out of the clip while bleaching. The ear covers are a little odd and I didn't use them but I'm sure they're useful for people bleaching with 40 vol developer (please don't unless you're a pro!), doing creative color, darker dyes, or have sensitive skin. Having two bowls was really useful for bleaching and toning in the same day!

good for beginners

I love the kit, but I am giving 3 stars because the ear covers aren't the best. The are flimsy, uncomfortable and come off very easy. I just put oil on my ears and it makes clean up easy. My favorite thing about this product are the gloves, they are thick so the won't tear easy like disposable gloves, and on the inside of the hand the have grippy bumps which are great for rubbing in the hair dye. The bowls are okay, I probably could have just gone to the dollar store and gotten a better set of bowls. For the hair clips I didn't have a chance to use them because I was dying my daughters hair and she doesn't like clips.

Such a good deal! These of course arent top of the line for in salon use but for a quick dye job at home.. its PERFECT. For the price and quick delievery.. you couldn't find a better cheap bundle! The gloves fit perfectly and are definitely reusable. The brushes are great especially since you get two of each kind! The ear caps feel weird but I didn't really need them anyway. The bowls are sturdy and just the right size. And the alligator clips give great grip to dry and wet hair! I really honestly couldn't be happier.
