I got this bag because I am in and out of shops all day long and I have to carry certain supplies for work. This bag is the perfect size it’s durable because I put it down on toolboxes and work benches.

This is a nice canvas file bag for transporting/traveling with documents. It easily accommodates standard sized files (8 1/2X11), and isn't too big. Also great for notebooks and writing materials that you want to keep together when traveling. I like this product a lot!

This is very nice. Well made with high-quality workmanship. It is a basic portfolio, no inside sleeves or other unnecessary zippers or velcro etc. The red lining is nice, beautifully stitched in and allows you to find your contents without having to dig around. This holds a lot for its size. I was able to put two hard back books, cellphone, wallet, keys and two eyeglass cases and still had room to spare.These guys make good products for a reasonable price.

I bought this to carry work papers and checks between two facilities and a bank. I was not interested in fire protection. Serves that purpose well and looks good doing it. Pouch seems sturdy enough and zipper works well. Don’t know how durable it is yet but seems like it should last.

I purchased this product initially, and then immediately replaced it with the A4 paper sized variant. This review is based on using both this one and the A4 sized one.I like the construction: heavy duty canvas exterior, nylon (?) lined, and heavy duty metal zipper. I expect this to be a durable product that should last a long time.BUT, the 12.5x8.8 inch is to small for standard (American) 8.5x11 inch sized paper. I bought this as a replacement for an elastic cord closure file wallet, which was made of paper and getting worn out after three months of hard use. Unfortunately this product is 'exactly' the size of a standard 8x5x11 inches piece of paper, meaning it is to small to be able to easily insert and remove papers. And, only a few papers would fit inside the pouch.Now, the A4 sized pouch is perfectly suited for my needs. I am able to store, transport, easily insert, and easily remove a small stack of 8.5x11 inch papers. The A4 pouch is also large enough to easily fit a paper folder (think elementary school folder with internal pouches made of card stock). I can even fit my macbook into the A4 variant. I would recommend the A4 pouch for a 'document pouch.' This product (12.5x8.8) works well for items smaller than an 8.5x11 inch piece of paper (think larger paperback books, etc.).

This field folder is perfect for a commuter backpack if you need to retain documents. I purchased an Oakley backpack that wan’t designed to keep loose leaf documents organized or not wrinkled. This was the perfect solution.
