This is an amazing knife. FOr the money, or for ANY money. My whole family uses them, and it's even got to be a verb - like " Will you Kubey this for me? "I gave it away because it's too heavy for my summer EDC. I think Kubey wasgoing for Hogue here - it's super thick and heavy duty. This particular model kubey has a beautiful grind to it - it tapers so well the super thick blade doesn't get in the way. Lets you really cut and slice stuff instead of split and chop. Great knife, won't be my last Kubey.

This is a fantastic knife! In fact, so good that this is the only review I have ever submitted for anything. It's extremely well made. It has a deep carry, right hand, tip up clip. It's on bearings, D2 blade, G10 handle, metal liners on both sides, flipper, and the lock pin is inset into the metal liners on both sides. It is a relatively heavy knife with a 3.5" blade. However, the weight is justified by the quality.The blade is perfectly centered and in spite of many openings and closings, has remained centered. Finally, the knife came EXTEREMELY sharp. This is the sharpest knife I own, and it arrived this way! One can quite literally shave one's face with this thing. I am highly impressed and I strongly recommend.

For the price, many other knives are nicer than this one. Its dummy thicc, the G10 feels and looks cheap, and I'd rather hold a pine cone than this thing. That being said, I have a different Kubey and it's great.
