Not with a brushless motor like these. A brushed motor can be run in parrallel or series.

Q: Will this motor fit on an EW-36 48v mobility scooter?

Hi. Unfortunately I don't have the specs on the scooter. I don't know if this will fit. But you can look at the specs for the motor and measure your vehicle to see if it will fit. It will most likely not work with your stock setup on the scooter.

90% * 100A * 24V = 2160W or just under 3 hp. If you know the power plant requirements of the aircraft you can derate this figure further to know if it'll work. You could probably make a plane big enough to ride in yourself if you can satisfy the power requirements. An ultralight can run off of a lawnmower engine.

Q: What three phase motor controller do you recommend?

The brands most people use is either Kelly controllers or Sevcon. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a specific model.Regards,Galen
