True and blue! Love my shoes
I bought my first pair a few years ago, they gave my arch the support that it needed, the durability of the soles is outstanding, and They have minimal wear and tear, even though I wore them daily. I did replace the insoles after a few years, although it only helped for a little while. And the outside toe area had become worn and was looking grey instead of black. I love the support and comfort, provided. The extra bonus is they actually come in larger sizes 12, 13 !!

These prove "orthopedic" can be good-looking, too!!
I have four toes that are pretty much the same length, so I seek out the squarest toe box I can find in shoes I plan to wear more than a few minutes. These are awesome! and great arch support for my "overly flexible" arches! They are also orthotic-friendly so if you have a need for a different insole, it's easy to swap out. Based on other reviews, I ordered a 39, my usual Eurosize for closed toe shoes and they are just perfect. I can wear with either a nylon, or even with a light trouser sock, including my favorite toe socks!Did I mention, they're really cute??? They make my feet look smaller and look great with my business-casual work clothes as well as jeans. The feminine floral embossed pattern is really pretty.I will absolutely buy this style again, and will try others in this brand as well.

Painful ingrown toenails due to these shoes!
I bought these shoes about 7 months ago. I’m just getting around to an honest review. At first I thought they were great now not at all. They seemed comfortable, but then my big toes started hurting. I thought well maybe it’s just the breaking in part, so I continued to wear them, big mistake. I’ve never had an ingrown toenail in my life until these shoes. I experienced the painful, ugly condition due to these shoes, which were not even tight own me. I bought these due to standing and walking 8 hours a day on cement. I work in a busy casino. As shown in the pic they scuffed within the 1st month. My toes are finally healing. Bye Bye Algeria shoes!

Great shoe for long lasting comfort in a hospital!
The sizing is the only thing I would say is difficult about this purchase. I’m an 8 1/2-9 and got the 39, and they are at the verge of being too small, but it all depends on what you feel comfortable with because they do stretch to your foot. As far as comfort goes, these are fantastic. My feet don’t hurt after an 8 hour shift on a cardiac floor, and they aren’t heavy at all. The one thing I worried about is if they would be too “clunky” like other brands, but these are PERFECT. I don’t feel like I’m going to twist an ankle if I have to run at work, and that to me is well worth it. The color is beautiful and I’ve had a ton of compliments from coworkers and patients :)

wide
The shoes have a very comfortable foot bed with good arch support and the toe box is good and wide. The problem is, they fit like a wide-width shoe all the way back to the heels, causing them to slip when I walked. I have tried other Alegria shoes and they were wide in the toe box but not in the heels, making them perfect for my wedge-shaped feet. I hated to send them back so I ordered some heel cushions and put one along each side and one under the tongue. They still slip a little but I hope that will get better as I wear them in.

very comfortable
I am working in the health care field both in food service and around the hospital so have to be on my feet sometimes for 8+ hours non-stop lifting and moving stuff or just standing for long periods. I tried Danskos but did not feel comfortable in them and constantly felt like I was going to roll my ankle (almost did a couple times turning a corner quickly). They also hurt my back because I am not used to being in a raised heel. I ordered these instead and they were instantly comfortable and felt less wobbly than the Danskos. I know a lot of people swear by Dankos but they did not work for me. These were great and super comfortable, they are a good width and have a nice amount of cushion.

Hurts big toe.
I really wanted to love these shoes. They are very cute & trendy. They are far more comfortable to walk in than Danskos. However, for some reason these shoes hurt my big toes. After first, I thought they were too small. Got a bigger pair, same issue with painful big toes. It actually hurts the toenail/nailbed more so than anything else. When I went to the nail salon to get a pedicure they removed my polish & I realized that my big toe nails were completely discolored & bruised. Still, I continued to wear them hoping to break them in. Instead, my right toe nail completely fell off. As a RN working in a very busy OR, I really need comfortable, supportive shoes. However, these were not it. $139 lesson learned. I considered trying the wide version, although I have never required a wide shoe in my life, but I would be a fool to make another $139 mistake on these shoes. Maybe the company will see my review & send me the wide ones to try as an attempt to make it right. If that happens, I'll update the review accordingly. But, seeing how others have complained about this in the reviews, I doubt that will actually happen.

Great for joint pain
Love these shoes. They are the best for joint pain. My first pair was a 40 and they fit well enough with winter socks. It's been a few years and the shoes are now well worn and stretched out too much. This review is for my second pair I bought through Amazon. I bought a 39 which shows it will fit size 9 to 9.5. The shoes are a bit too short. Everything else about the shoe fits well. I'm hoping they will stretch out a bit soon. I'm a 9.5 in shoes. If you are a half size, I would go up to the next size.Even a little too small, these shoes are the best when my joint pain is severe. I wear them and get relief.

Very comfortable and surprisingly light
Bought those online. I usually wear 6.5-7 so I got size 7 (37). They fit perfectly!!! The first day I wore them for 8-hour shift and didn't feel any pain. Very comfortable and surprisingly light! No complaints. Would highly recommend!!
