Cessna Strut Mount for GoPro

worked but not practical

Well, have you every tried to find a product that fits an airframe that's been out of production for over 75 years? After comparing my struts with the struts of a 172, I figured I'd take a shot in the dark. It fit perfectly. But, almost immediately, I had a need to put this on a a SuperCub. The struts are very different, buy by changing the padding, we were able to make it fit perfectly. Then, I had to move it to a Scout and (once again) with very minor modifications to the padding, it worked there, too. Whenever I need to mount something to the outside of a high wing airplane (at least those with wing struts), this mount has become my favorite.Now, if we can just convince them to make a version with a mirror for glider tow-planes. :-)
