Stainless Steel Cocktail Muddler and Mixing Spoon Set By Varvino with a! - Make Flavorful Cocktails with Ease!

I ordered these itens (muddler and cocktail spoon from Varvino) on Thursday night (Amazon Prime) and received them on Saturday, so obviously the order was fulfilled very efficiently. The cocktail spoon is a very classic looking cocktail spoon with a round flat top and a twisted shaft. It is 8.25" long and the spoon end is 1" wide. The muddler is a very good looking instrument of 8" length with a hard nylon ridged tip that is 1.25 " in diameter (the widest part) that should indeed produce a good muddled effect. As a novice in muddled cocktails, the emailed guide I received on the same day as delivery will be very helpful and is much appreciated.

The muddler does a great job at muddling fruit, but the pattern on the plastic end makes it kind of hard to muddle herbs well. I think a more traditional flat bottomed muddler would be better suited to that task. The spoon works just fine, but the big flat end on it (also meant for muddling, I guess?) can get in the way a little and make it less comfortable to use. Overall, both items do a great job, so I am happy with my purchase.

I love this muddler! I am growing a lot of mint this summer and what to do with it? Make Mojitos! I was attempting to muddle the mint with a spoon, and that just wasn't ideal. . The muddler is of great quality and the additional spoon is lovely. The muddler has a good solid grip and the rubber end part used to smash the mint works fantastic. It completely smushes up the mint just like i like it. Now I am motivated to try all kinds of muddled mint recipes!

I bought this for a mixology lesson I did for a friend's birthday. I purchased this muddler and a wooden one, and I felt like the silver one had a better grip on it and was easier to use. The muddler is perfect for making fun cocktails where you have to mash things. We used it for mojitos to squeeze the lemons, mint, and sugar at the bottom of the glass. Definitely did the trick.

This is just exactly what I was looking for, instead of making do with whatever I could find in my kitchen. The bonus spoon was a nice addition! It's very easy to use, I can easily control how much I "smash" the fruit or other ingredients. Packaging was perfect, items individually wrapped in plastic and in a nice sturdy box. Ever since I discovered mojitos I have been making them - my wife's friends love them! I had been smushing the mint with a spoon but the muddler works much better... also the cocktail spoon mixes the finished drink better than a spoon because it doesn't disturb the ice as much... Mojito: 1/2 oz lime juice, 2 spoons sugar, 3-5 mint leaves - muddle... 1 1/2 oz white rum, stir... add ice and club soda... stir gently... garnish with lime wheel and mint leaf

This stainless steel cocktail muddler and stirrer is fantastic. We ordered this item as we were hosting a party and were planning on making some fun cocktails. This muddler and stirrer was delivered same day and was definitely put to good use. This item may not cost a fortune but it works wonderfully and is great quality. The stirrer was helpful too and our drinks tasted great! I would reccomend this to anyone looking to make a great beverage!

Giving this item as a gift for Christmas so I have not been able to try it out. I did take it out of the box and it appears well made and I like the style and feel of it. The stirring spoon is an added bonus. Overall it seems like a good product.
