Totally worth it!
I don’t typically spend this much on foot cream but i read the reviews and gave it a try. I take very good care of my feet but feel they always get super dry despite my efforts. I’ve used foot scrubs, foot files, exfoliating foot masks, rotating foot file tools, and creams etc to keep my feet smooth and soft. The problem is that after any treatment my skin goes exactly back to what it was doing before. This scrub works. I use it every other day in the shower with a pumice stone on my feet. Out of the shower there is a noticeable difference in my feet, they’re much smoother than using any other treatment and they respond better to moisturizers. I feel like I’m making progress in softening my skin and calluses whereas using other treatments made me feel like i was constantly trying to smooth out rough spots. I think this scrub is keeping my feet moisturized throughout the day. Would definitely buy again!!

Best new Foot products EVER! LOVE!!!
One of my all time favorite new companies. Their products are like none I have ever used. Thier "grit" is very good and moisturizing, but their " High Dive" moisurizer is AWESOME! You MUST TRY THIS!

Versatile, Satisfying Shower Scrub
At first, it seemed ludicrous for me to get Barefoot Scientist's Pure Grit Exfoliating Mineral Shower Scrub, a product advertised as primarily targeted toward being a foot scrub but also noting it can be used as a body scrub. As the ingredients sounded delightful, I decided to take a chance and am so glad I did.I don't actually have feet, seriously, but I do have limbs and given my active lifestyle they get tired and worn and take an awful lot so I can live an active lifestyle. My first time trying Pure Grit, I initially put a small amount on my body and fell in love with the Eucalyptus scent. The exfoliating qualities felt amazing and both mind and body were incredibly happy. On a whim, I decided to try it on my limbs. I'm an above-knee amputee on one side, a below-knee on the other side. While I have limited sensation, I was amazed how good it felt and how good it made my limbs look. Having only become an above knee amputee in the last few months, I've really been looking at ways to improve self-care and Pure Grit really feels like it nourishes my legs and de-stresses them. They look and feel healthier and the hydration is really a positive thing for limbs that don't get a lot of circulation. The Eucalyptus scent is not overpowering, but I can definitely smell it and I find it very calming and soothing. the exfoliating feels great on my body and really great on the legs. While I have very sensitive skin, I have had no issues with rashes or allergic reactions at all. I think buffing away the dead skin cells is actually quite positive with my limbs.I'm seriously impressed. My legs are prone to toxins - while this product certainly doesn't replace medical care, it's a wonderful complement and something I can do for self-care. Cell regeneration helps to renew my legs and seems to be helping them from looking worn down all the time. It's really very awesome. This is the type of product that makes me look up a company and see what other products they have. I'm a fan of Pure Grit and will be incorporating it into my regular body and leg-care routine.

Gentle But Leaves Feet So Soft & Smooth-Best When I Loosen Dead Skin w/ Foot Paddle First
Barefoot Scientist True Grit scrub is one of the best foot scrubs I’ve ever used. The eucalyptus scent is nice but not overbearing. This scrub feels grainy enough to exfoliate and stimulate my feet, but it’s also gentle and lacks harsh chemicals often added to foot scrubs to exaggerate the effect of the grainy particles. This is thick enough that it doesn’t just slide off my feet, so I can actually massage my feet well where needed. My feet tolerate this gentler and high quality scrub, so I can use it as part of my regular routine and actually get real benefits from regular use. The sizing of the product is generous. My feet get so rough, dry and calloused, which I attribute to going barefoot and wearing sandals a lot in a dry climate. I was already using a once a week treatment that’s effective at sloughing off dead skin, but in between uses I found the skin on my heels and bottom of my feet was getting rough and hard again. Using Barefoot Scientist 2-3x a week is exactly what I needed as it gently exfoliates and extends the benefits from my 1x a week treatment, and it also adds much needed moisture.I get my best results using a foot paddle on dry feet before using True Grit in the shower and then moisturizing after use. Using this one time won’t deliver dramatic results as it’s not a foot peel and isn’t loaded with chemicals. But my feet feel better than I can remember given the exfoliation and moisture this scrub provides after easy steps to loosen up some of that dead skin. My feet always feel extra clean and noticeably soft and smooth now. I checked the ingredients on Skincarisma and they look good and mostly rate low risk (except fragrance and cocamidopropyl betaine). Love it. 5 stars.Ingredients: Water, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Clay Mineral Oxides, Glycerin, Bentonite, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Pumice, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Quartz, Volcanic Sand, Menthol, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Sclerotium Gum, Lecithin, Glyceryl Oleate, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Caprylate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Pullulan, Xanthan Gum, Fragrance.

Great scent and seems to work on my medium rough foot
I don't have the worst foot - Id say it's "medium roughness". I used this Barefoot Scientist Pure Grit Exfoliating Mineral Scrub and it seems to work well on my foot. I put more focus on the sides of the back foot if you know what I mean. After using this Barefoot Scientist Pure Grit Exfoliating Mineral Scrub it took away most of the "roughness". I think if I worked on it some more it'll be even better but it can tiring. I usually go to a salon LOL. But this is a good product to use in a pinch. the scent is also not overwhelming either which is good. The "grittiness" is good enough for me. I think the price is a little bit expensive but thankfully I only need to use this on the sides so I don't use too much really.
