I saw this on a woman at work, asked her from where she purchased it, and was told she got it via Amazon. Knowing it wasn't going to be hard to track down (so long as it was still available online), I knew I had to get it.I happen to be a fan of butterflies—have been since I was a teenager. The woman I spoke with said something about Mariah Carey, which meant absolutely NOTHING to me since I don’t keep tabs on celebrities or their gossip. No, for me, the butterfly symbolizes change, metamorphosis, a battle you go through with victory and beauty as its outcome. When I was a kid, I actually had a fear of the insects, but, somewhere along the line, in my teens, I began realizing just how apropos of Life these guys are. I mean, there are few people in this world who have an easy life. Everyone meets his share of lows and downs, troubles and trials. But, to me, no matter how ugly a beginning you may have, if you stick through it, God can make something beautiful out of all the mess and pain in your life. This is what I’ve found to be true in mine. As a Christian, the Cross is both symbolic (of all that Jesus did for us) and literal (indicative of the crosses (in one form or another) that we all must bear in life) as well as remindful (reminding the Believer of the verse in which Jesus tells us to pick up our crosses daily). However, I have to admit I view the butterfly in much the same light: of the mess Christ had to endure, but, in the end, arising triumphant. An ugly caterpillar goes into the cocoon (which isn’t exactly a pleasant process) and emerges a beautiful butterfly, victorious, able to soar to new heights.Anyhow, that’s why this ring caught my attention. Besides, it really is eye-catching. It has such prominence; there’s no way anyone can miss it on your hand. It really is a striking ring. A great conversation piece!So, I did my search and found the ring. The only problem I encountered was that it didn’t come in my size (7). I decided to order a size up, thinking I could wear it on my middle finger. However, when I got it and put it on, I found out the size 8 was too big. I had thought to have it sized down, but, as this is costume jewelry and I have no idea how much a jeweler would charge for such a service, that may not make much sense, cost-wise, so I might just exchange it for the size 6 and hope it works better on my ring finger. (Sometimes, even my size-7 rings can be a bit roomy on my ring finger, so here’s to hoping it runs big in all sizes!)As to the rest of the transaction: The ring arrived very quickly (quicker than I expected actually) and came in its own box. Inside the box was the ring (of course) and a black velvet bag.Having first seen the ring about a month or so ago, I’d forgotten how lovely it is. When it arrived, I was struck by its sparkle and shine. As I didn’t try hers on, I was also surprised to find how weighty the piece is. I mean, it’s costume jewelry! I don’t tend to think of fake jewelry as being heavy, but this has a nice amount of weight to it—doesn’t feel cheap or as if it’ll break in a week’s time.If you like butterflies or just like the look of this ring, I encourage you to buy it. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. (Only hope you can get it in your size!)

I have worn it everyday since I received it! I LOVE THIS RING! It hasn't fallen apart....yet. It's so sparkly and pretty! I did have to wear the ring the other way.Well....it broke.... I'm so sad because I was in love with this ring. Not a ring you can wear every day if you want it to last :( Fortunately it broke before the return date, so I'm getting a full refund and free returns!

This ring looks like it’s of real diamonds!! And, it looks like Mariah Carey’s butterfly ring. Very sturdy, and a conversation starter. Very classy and expensive at first glance. Love it!!!

What a fun ring! I purchased in all three colors. I take it off when I wash my hands as I'm afraid the stones will come loose. It's a decent size ring. Probably not for you if you don't like a little flash. I love it!

I really love the ring itself, the little details and the simplicity of it. It is sparkly yet elegant! However I am originally a size 7, this ring is somewhat loose on me so I should’ve bought a size 6. Buy a size down and I think you should be fine. In the picture I used a small sheet of plastic wrap to make it fit my finger:)

Loved this ring & I received so many compliments on it. Yes I know it isn not sterling silver, but it didn’t last longer than two days before it turned my finger green :( Super sparkly, very Mariah-style.
