Golden Paints are Simply the Best
This product is definitely for beginners as well as seasoned artists. In many cases, the newer artist will gravitate toward, “student grade” paints. This is a mistake for two reasons: if the painting does not have a good heavy body paint—especially white—the beginning artist may believe the problem with the painting falls squarely on her shoulders, when a thicker body paint is actually needed. The second reason is that if an artist does not buy a good full-body paint such as Golden, the artist will end up using twice as much of a, “student grade” or cheaper paint to try to get the effect she is looking for in a heavy body acrylic paint. This paint is very easy to use, mixes well with other colors and—in my humble opinion—has good staying power on the palette. It does not dry out as quickly as other brands of acrylic paints.Golden has a website that, should any artist have a question, a “live” person will answer any and all questions if the information is not readily found on their site.Golden is reliable: all colors are always the same color tube for tube; never a deviation that I’ve noticed. Golden strives to make sure their customers are happy with their purchase. And finally, Golden paints are made here in the United States, which is truly appreciated.

solve the tops problem, have a perfect product
I try to use only golden acrylics. The major quibble I have is with the screw tops of the tubes. They become paint clogged and constantly fall off. Even after I run hot water over them and dig out the dried paint, I always find tubes without their tops. It would be great if golden solved this problem the way liquitix and utrecht have.

it is more purple than the blue violet that I want.
ordinarily, in my limited experience, ultramarine violet would be ultramarine blue with violet tint. This is low pigment violet. It is more purple than I want. good for glazing, I suppose. It is rather transparent, french ultramarine absorbed a bunch of it before I got it to the violet blue shade that I hoped for.

Sold old used tube of golden acrylic paint! Bad business!National
I ordered 2 tubes of the 2oz jenkins green. I love the color so much. The one tube was in ok condition but the second tube looked used, the cap was yellow and was cracked to where i could put a fingernail down the crack. Golden acrylics are not cheap and i dont expect to be sold an old used tube when im paying for brand new! Get it together !!!!

So buttery smooth
I have been painting with another brand that has been lumpy so, with the advice from my art group I switched to Golden. I'm very happy with the results I get. I will stick with Golden.

excellent quality
Heavy Body Golden acrylics are my favorite paints: the colors (hue) are super and very consistent in their solubility. These tubes are great for plein air and travel packing, but in the studio i go for the larger jars they have.

It’s Golden
Golden is my go to for paint. I use their heavy body, fluid, high flow, and mediums, as well as their watercolors. The best customer service I’ve ever found. Worth the higher price.

Best magenta
I’ve tried like 7 different magentas and this is the best. Somewhat transparent....like 50/50 I think. Same as most magentas. (Those that are more opaque seem to have filler and the color is less pure.) It’s also rich and a little goes a long way. Mixed with Dioxazine purple, it’s the best color ever.

Golden acrylics are the best
I love Golden. The use high quality pigments that allow consistent results when mixing. These are the finest artist grade paints, so they aren't cheap but they're worth every penny. I've used many other brands but the majority of my paints are Golden.

Heavy body paints from now on. I already use with satisfaction the coloured gesso of Golden.
