For a buggy it would work fine. For a manxter do not buy this. The tabs do not line up as needed to make the headlights level. You have to sand out and make new tabs. Also, the housing only rotates up so much and on a Manx/Manxter it doesn't twist up enough to make the headlights useful in the dark. You only get light a few feet in front of the car. 3 stars for the product. Not a 5 because they are advertised as manx compatible when they are not.

I bought this for my ''VW SANDRAIL'' .... The old headlight had a lot of ''chrome'' missing, now this looks all SHINEY & like the other headlight! Easy ro install too! Would recommend this to replace round mounted lights on a dune buggy or sandrail

the light that came with the shell didn't quite fit like a glove. it took some maneuvering - but looks really nice once it's on there.

Overall a good purchase - good value for money. Chrome looks good, and adjustable clamping system works pretty well.Had a little trouble assembling the light unit into the headlight shell on my own, as the tabs on the back of the light kept springing out of the cut-outs in the shell as I tried to fit the retaining ring. Fairly easy to resolve - just get an extra pair of hands by having someone else hold the light unit in place while you fit the ring.

The light bulb rattles in the housing. There should be a gasket or o-ring to prevent vibration.
