I have spent hours and weeks on the internet doing research and reading blogs about this new derma roller trend. So, I thought maybe I should write this review to save you some time and headache, especially if you are still unsure about the whole microneedling thing that everyone seems to be talking about.Background:When I was 14, I was diagnosed with severe cystic aggressive acne. While my friends were experimenting with cosmetics and sharing makeup, I had to be more vigilant about what I was put on my skin. My dermatologist put on high dose retinoids and other oral medications for six months. My hair started to fall out, my nails became very brittle, but once I started to see results I knew it would all be worth it. It's crazy how your standards change with each improvement on your skin. Because even though I was grateful I didn't have the same severe cystic acne problem, I was still hopelessly insecure about the scarring, and red discoloration left behind.Research:I was reading an article on allure about microneedling and stories of how it has transformed people's skin. I was intimidated by the idea of rolling microneedles on my face. Skeptical, I read everything I could about this treatment to gain some confidence. Here's a summary of my research:1. Only use a derma roller with up to 0.3mm needles for at-home use. Anything longer than that will put you at risk for skin infections.2. Look for a Derma Roller with 540 Titanium needles because the higher number of titanium needles will give you faster results and titanium is much less corrosive than stainless-steel.3. Always start with a freshly cleansed face and use a gentle serum afterward - especially if you have sensitive skin like me.The Product:Marvelush Skincare seemed to be the most widely recommended brand on the blogs I was reading. I was confused because this listing doesn't have any reviews but when I searched "marvelush skincare" on amazon I realized that they sell different derma roller kits - so hey, who doesn't like options? 💁‍♀️ After reading the reviews on the other listings I decided to take the plunge. I chose this derma roller set with the hyaluronic acid serum because it was right in my budget - I also read hyaluronic acid serum is one of the gentlest skincare ingredients you can put on your face since it is naturally produced by your body.Results:I am the furthest thing from a patient person, so when I didn't see results after a couple of days I thought it was all a hoax. But I continued to use it daily (even though it is recommended for every other day use), applying the serum post-treatment religiously. After week 1, the red discoloration on my skin was noticeably fading. My overall skin complexion was more even, making my scars much less noticeable (although the depth of them didn't seem to change much). After about 3 weeks of continued use, I can honestly say I am astonished with the results! Not only did the red discolored spots almost disappear, but the depth of the skin crater acne scars are visibly less deep.What Next?:The ebook they sent me recommends replacing the derma roller monthly for hygienic reasons, so here I am ready to buy my second one :)Now that I am almost to my one month mark of using the derma roller and hyaluronic acid serum kit, I can confidently say - BUY THIS. If you don't need the serum, marvelush sells the derma roller by itself and they even sell a derma roller with a JADE ROLLER! Throughout my 20s I made the mistake of taking my young healthy skin for granted. I was one of the lucky ones who never had acne or any kind of skin problems. As mother of 4, I have a tight budget so I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on products. I decided to buy Marvelush’s products because 1, their products are priced just right and 2, I read that they are a new small business in Arizona and I always try to support the underdogs.As you can see from the pictures, I have seen huge results in using just 3 products which combined cost less than $25! I use the derma roller every night, then I use the hyaluronic acid serum. After the serum dries I use about a dime’s worth of white petroleum jelly to lock in the serum and moisture. It takes some time to get used to but honestly it is so worth it!

This is a first time use for this type of product but the Derma Roller Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5-n-1 Facial Set is such a great buy and works miracles I feel to the complexion that its gonna be so hard purchase!! Im gonna order more now!!!

Did not work in the product guarantee time, still hasn't. I received on June 20th and have used ever since. After searching a bunch I finally found an email on their website to ask about the refund guarantee and I never heard back from. That guarantee was why I picked this product, I've never used a derma roller so that guarantee made me comfortable making the purchase.
