Splendid, comfortable everyday Headphones.
Having gravitated to using these white headphones owing to the fact they are just right in Sound Quality and Comfort. Please keep in mind that they are not the most rugged and the plastic is cheap.I have a Black Pair of these, but sadly wore the plug down to the point of having the wires in plain sight. I bought these believing they were NEW.At best, these were tried by somebody who prefers to smash the top of the box as opposed to slitting the seal.I tried to reach the dealer but no luck. If they had not said New and told the actual state, I would not have a problem with the dealer.I love the HPH-200 as they are so light and are so superior to your run of the mill light headphone. They are not perfect for serious musical listening but you need to pay several times more to immerse yourself in sound. This white pair are Chinese. The Black pair sold on the same page are about 50% more expensive. Maybe they are built elsewhere. I truly do recommend these for everyday , accurate, go to daily headphones. The box came with a cable to plug into your Amp. They are a Splendid . A pouch would have been nice.

Defective Headphones
Unfortunately within three months the right channel has quit and I have returned the headphones to Yamaha. Very disappointed as I have always bought Yamaha products and found them to be of good quality for the price. Have not heard back yet but hopefully they will be replaced.

Disappointed costumer
From the moment I got the headphones, it took about 15 minutes until the right can started buzzing and crackling. From then on it's just getting worse. It is triggered by the bass. I love the headphones for their clear sound and now theur are simply useless.

Yamaha low-price leader
While suffering from low build quality, roughly in line with $40 cans, the quality sounds these put out match up well with far pricier headphones, along the lines of $100-$200 units. This represents real value. Compared with Beyer, Bose, Sennheiser, Sony phones.
