As far as looks and functionality are concerned, it is nice and has a good feel. Washing is easy, but getting rid of the dishwashing detergent odor has been a major problem. Regardless of how much I rinse it with hot water, I still smell and taste soap (although faint) in my coffee. I have not had this problem with other reusable cups, so I don't know what it is about this one. And I don't use my dishwasher enough to blast it with heated water every time I use it. So unfortunately, it will sit on the shelf until I decide to dispose of it.

I wanted a travel coffee mug that was dishwasher safe, easy to use and clean, and reminded me of a cup from my local coffee shop. The Copco travel mug was perfect. I have been using it for several weeks, it is easy to clean and there has been no staining even though I often forget and leave coffee in it for several hours before I clean it. It has been through the dishwasher dozens of times and the grip sleeve is still strongly attached ( i've had an issue with this on travel mugs in the past). I did not want a travel mug that looked sporty or like some shiny metal pod. I wanted one that looked more like the disposable cups you get at the coffee shop. When I carry coffee in this I still get the cozy feeling of caring around a coffee shop coffee, without all the extra cost and waste. I have carried this in a stroller into my car cupholder and I have never had trouble with sloshing are spilling. It has never leaked around the threading of the lid. And while the threading seals tightly it is not difficult to twist on and off.I do have to adjust the base of my coffeemaker, this is common with most travel mugs. It is actually close to fitting underneath mine without adjusting so it might fit underneath a different model.Hope this was helpful.

Before these cups, my ceramic mugs would wind up broken in my husband’s workshop. I purchased several of these from another source years ago and my husband has using them daily. He’s rough on them, but they have held up to the abuse!! They have also been fantastic for travel or camping!! We just toss them in the dishwasher and they clean up nicely. We recently had an event at our home. Several people thought these were high-quality disposable so they took them home for their own continued use and I had to purchase a few more to replace them. Worth the purchase!!

I bought a similar cup from Walgreens thinking it would be the same, but the construction was inferior in multiple ways. The Copco has a rubber seal that is part of the lid, while the Walgreens cup had a gasket that would fall off when the lid was removed, is a nightmare in the dishwasher, and does not seal well when you screw the lid on. Also, the bottom on the Copco is rubber, just like the gripper around the sounds, while the Walgreens cup was foam that would lose chunks out of it. These are just better than anything out there and well worth the money.

For the last 5-6 years I have used my Copco insulated mug daily at home and away. I am impressed how long coffee remains heated in this "open-lipped" cup (up to an hour for mildly warm). I have dropped it with no damage, but obvious leakage. I don't clean in dishwasher as the grip-strip for holding loosened when I did place in a washer once.Over time the caffeine oils stain the interior and the surface darkens though I see no change in flavor/taste. The appearance may prompt me to buy a new mug. It fits perfectly in the car's cup holder....an obvious plus and not always the case as some brands' cups are too wide at the base.

I bought 2 of these for the commute to work. We already have heavy duty therma flasks for coffee for later in the day. We were looking for something that would be like a disposable cup but not disposable. Full disclosure, these are not spill proof. The have an opening on the lid similar to a disposable coffee lid from Starbucks. But they will keep the coffee from sloshing on you if you brake hard. They are made from a thicker plastic which helps keep coffee insulated but this is a limited insulation & your coffee will start cooling pretty quickly. Still, the warmth stays in the cup & I’m not worried about burning my hand on a ceramic coffee cup. I recommend soaking these after use since they will stain. Otherwise, great product that does what I need it to.

This travel cup is perfectly fine if you have a short commute or intend on finishing your hot beverage in 15 minutes, but if you hope to have hot coffee after an hour, this is not the cup for you. I have several of the Copco mugs in different colors and they serve me well- easy to clean, safe to use, simple but decent design- but I only expect to drink my morning coffee during my 20 minute commute to work, and my coffee is usually room temp by then. But, unlike disposable Styrofoam coffee cups, you can put this one in the microwave for reheating if need be, so its not a huge inconvenience.The slit in the lid is small so I wouldn't recommend this cup for thicker beverages like slushies, smoothies, etc... Coffee, tea and other smooth liquids are fine. (However, I have one Copco travel mug that has a different lid (kind of a flip-top) that is a slightly wider opening, and that might work better for thicker drinks- if you can find those lids.) I have not tried keeping beverages cold in this mug but I expect the cup wouldn't keep anything cold for longer than 15-20 minutes either, due to poor insulation.Overall, not a bad price for this product, but don't expect steaming hot lattes after 20 minutes.

The cup is really good at keeping in the heat and liquid. The lid twists in tight enough so you know when it is loose or not and it hasn't spontaneously come loose for me. The only place that's somewhat difficult to clean is the part of the lid that twists into the mug, which isn't even that difficult especially considering how well it keeps in your drink.The design doesn't try anything over the top or gimmicky, it's just a nice, simple insulated mug that it surprisingly light compared to most coffee mugs.

I am using this mug for a week and doesnt get coffee stain.the only downside is that inside of the mug has a strong smell of plastic, but is going away gradually.

Washes easy! Only thing the plastic keeps the coffee smell! Love the fact that its microwaveable!
