The retinol percentage is not marked on the product
I have not tried it yet, but the false advertising puts me off. It is advertised as 5% Retinol, but not such thing is mentioned on the actual product. Shame.

Description is very obviously lies.
I’m left with the distinct impression that the description vs actual content is lies. The ingredients aren’t actually listed in order of quantity (water would come before retinol if they were), secondly, nowhere on the packaging does it mention a % of retinol. Which I guess gives plausible deniability when it turns out it’s not the 5% claimed in the description. It can only be a con. Save your money.

A natural product with an impressive ingredients list
EDIT.......just a few days in of using this and I feel I should update this review. I have learnt to use far less of the product because, as opposed to seeming watery, it is in fact more of an oily texture. However, I noticed that this 'oilyness' persisted even through my usual moisturiser that I put on top, leaving me with a very 'oily' look to my skin. I ignored this but have just noticed that my skin has actually become oily too! I have a normal to dry skin so this isn't something that I want any product to achieve! I have used other retinol prtoducts before and this has never happened. So I am returning this item.I am not saying that the product is bad, it may be fantastic for other skin types but it just didn't suit me.I have just received this today so this is just an initial impression, hence only 4 stars at the moment, I will update this review in a few weeks after daily use.The packaging is lovely, very classy, a dark blue and white box with a dark blue glass bottle and dropper inside. The serum itself is clear and watery with no smell at all. I was surprised at this because I am used to thicker, more cloudy serums with a velvet texture and some fragrance. It is easy to apply and half the pipette covered my face and neck well, my skin is older and absorbs like a sponge so younger skins may need less.I bought this because it advertises 5% retinol but as someone else pointed out, there is no mention of this on the packaging. But, the very first ingredient is Retinol which is a good sign because ingredients in cosmetics always start with the highest amount first which is usually water! So it's a good start.I didn't feel any reaction after application which surprised me (with such a high amount of retinol) but, then again, my skin is used to Alpha H which is glycolic acid, so that could be why.I also like the fact that this has niacinamide (vit b3) in the ingredients because this is another proven anti ageing power house which can be expensive in premium serums. Also has Vit C and E to complete the line up so, in theory, it should give good results. My only gripe is that I prefer some natural fragrance in my skin care but that is, of course, a personal preference. But I am pleased that it is a natural product with no parabens.

It works.
I have been using this serum for a week now. Every morning after i shower i pat dry my skin and apply a small amount to my face. Using circular motions i massage it gently into the areas such as the corners of my eyes, the t zone and my forehead. It goes on lovely, very light serum. It is almost odourless and leaves no sticky residue on either my hands or my face. What is most pleasing is that it actually works. The lines on my forehead are noticeably smaller. A pleasant surprise. This is my first anti ageing product, although i do moisturise. Even after using this serum i have been using my regular moisturiser. I think this will have to be my new regime.thanks. 5*

Not for me
I've tried 4 different retinol serums so far, and only one (Satin Naturel) felt like was working. All the rest (including this one) just did nothing: no changes on the skin, no sensations of tightness when applying it... I guess it's just me!

No
Been using this for some time now and noticed no difference whatsoever in my skin except a few spots!I bought this as it says it is 5% retinol-I don’t see how it can be, had no tightness, no flaking skin etc. Has not touched any of wrinkles. Don’t waste your money-another product assigned to the bathroom cupboard of broken promises

Nice product
Second time I’ve bought this product not sure if it helps but it feels good And absorbs quickly and I think has evened my skin tone it’s a good price and lasts a while. Will see how I feel after the second bottle has gone wether I continue to use it. I question the high retinol factor as it’s so cheap and the packaging and bottle is such good quality but overall it’s a nice product to use and compatible with my sensitive skin

After 3-4 weeks I am starting to see a slight improvement, I am impressed
feels great and has made an improvement, really happy, won't want to live without it now :-) I moisturise over it as it can feel a little tight on it's own. I can't give 5 stars for wrinkle-free as I am not there yet and don't expect miracles but it's the only product that has made a difference
