The new SHSAT has added editing and revising to the test for the first time, taking away scrambled paragraphs and logic. The Argo books are a great way to practice these new sections. Having a book that focuses on Editing and Revising is especially helpful because there aren't many published. Any of the old SHSAT handbooks have plenty of reading comprehension sections to practice with and 90 percent of the Math is exactly as it was - -with the exception of 5 questions that are not multiple choice. We have been very happy with this volume. If you are thinking of going to a specialized High School, you must practice for the test to be competitive and this is a great book to use.

This book book is a nice way to practice and features the main points of the new SHSAT. There are thought some questions and/or answers that are a bit off. Most of the explanations are clear. This book is a bit different then other books in some way but overall it is good.

Absolutely a must have book for shsat test takers. For some reason I got it for the great price - about $5 brand new here on Amazon. It includes link with free videos with tons of practice examples. It is the news and revised practice test for Ela section of the Shsat.

My son is preparing for SHSAT test and this book is very helpful. This book is challenging yet good explaining the answer choices and really makes the student to think logically. This book is well structured and includes wide array of topics, including grammar and comprehension as well as logical thinking and revising. Highly recommend!

I liked the videos and the answers that you can check your thinking and work. You can learn where you might be going wrong, so then you can improve. Also, customer support is very helpful.

If you are being tutored by a test prep expert, this is a great book. If you are studying alone...not so much. It does not present methodologies or strategies. Get a great tutor, and this book is a great value for the price.

Great book !!!! My daughter loves it . She found it very useful and so did I . The book is s little challenging, but that's exactly what they need to prepare for a very difficult test .
