As a novice monther. feeling sooooo happy watching every move of my baby every day. Excited like a crazy mom. But in fact, I have a lot of things to do. Can't stay with him all the time. So my friends recommended that I should buy a baby monitor to keep an eye with my baby, which lets me see his sweet smiling face when I can do something else. Like running. Can talk to baby by using it. Sounds is great, videos are easy & smooth. Really hleps me a lot, love it!

This is a really great monitor first off. I didn’t give it 5 stars for a couple reasons. First that when in VOX mode, where it has no sound unless noise is made in the room, the screen actually goes black too. I wish the screen stayed on without the sound. I’m having to play with the sensitivity a lot too. Which honestly might be something I don’t fully figure out until we try it at night. I’m writing this review after initial set up and learning to use it.I have to say, this has a great picture quality. Very clear, not grainy at all.It’s pretty straight forward. Not a lot of buttons to learn. Screen shows temperature, time, and date. You can turn on lullabies, a lot to choose from actually. The sound of silence is one of them, which my husband likes, cuz you know.... guy stuff.There is a talk feature where you can press and hold to talk on the bedroom unit.The cords are pretty long on both units. So if you want to mount it on the wall like I did that becomes a handy bit.The set up was instant. The units come all ready paired so no extra effort on your part. You can literally plug in immediately and learn later if need be.This is overall a great, compact unit. Maybe if I play around with it and can learn a way to keep screen on while muted unless baby makes noise I can change my review to 5 star.

Edit: update - seems like it’s the charger that doesn’t work, which still doesn’t helpNo longer works. Purchased in May and seemed like a good option. Picture was decent. The sound talking to my toddler wasn’t great- she couldn’t always understand us and there’s a delay from when you hold microphone to when the sound actually comes through - so if you realize that it’s a little better. However, it’s now stopped working. Wont charge even though plugged in. Not the outlet because I tried other baby appliances (sound machine) to make sure there’s a charge. You would think it would last at least one year.

This is actually the second time I purchased this monitor. The first one my daughter got ahold of and put it in the toilet. The monitor was actually unavailable when this happened so I purchased multiple other monitors off of Amazon and just kept returning them. For the price, the quality of this monitor is great. I wish that you could hook up two cameras to it, but other than that I have no complaints. The battery life is great on the monitor and the VOX option is great because the brightness of the monitor can be annoying all night long. You wouldn't know that until you had a VOX option where it only comes on when the baby moves or makes noise. Trust me, it is a must. Im glad that I was able to find this monitor again because if not, I would probably still be purchasing and returning monitors.

I am so pleased we chose this Video Baby Monitor. The quality of the picture is so amazing, it's very easy to see what the baby is doing in her crib. I like the adjustable sound control to hear baby, it's very easy to change to a higher or lower volume. The set up of the Video Baby Monitor was very easy and quick. I like that you can play soothing lullabies on the baby unit by a touch of one button on the parent unit. It's very portable and would be easy to take on vacations or to grandma's house for a sleepover. Having this unit gives me peace of mind when the baby is in her crib. I highly recommend this Video Baby Monitor. You will love it!

Had I not gotten used to the previous monitor I had that had a giant screen, I would have given this little guy 5 stars. That "other" monitor cost twice as much and the charging cord quit working in less than a year of gentle use. From reading reviews, this monitor seemed like a good product for a sensible amount of money and I agree totally. Probably my favorite feature is the selection of sweet lullabies - which I seldom use since my little one is a year now. Took me a while pushing buttons before I finally read the instructions on how to set time/date/temp/etc. The VOX feature is nice and WOW! does the battery last a long time! Plus I can carry the monitor way further than the last monitor I had and the picture and sound remains clear. Very nice to use when gardening during naptime! Now that I have adjusted to the slightly smaller screen, I can seriously recommend this baby monitor. Save yourself hours of reading reviews and researching and just get this one. Mom of 3 who likes to use naps to get things done!

*Edited 5 months later*Luckily I bought the protection plan because it stopped working after 5 months of use. The battery no longer holds a charge, and now it shuts off while plugged in. Fyi I am bring reimbursed for the purchase price via an Amazon gift card.I was skeptical about buying this since I had not heard of the brand before, but since my Motorolla monitored started to go out on me I figured it was worth the chance. I am very impressed with the picture quality, both during the day and night, and it's ability to notify me when the baby is stirring in Vox mode.The battery life is pretty good too, but I mostly leave it in Vox mode and I am sure that helps. I would not hesitate to buy another one if there was a need, however I am only a month into using it so we will see.

This baby monitor with camera was an excellent choice. I am using it for my grandson who I will be keeping while his mom he goes back to work. I love the picture quality and the capabilities of the camera. I can get an angle that is just perfect to see my grandson very clearly while he sleeps. This is my first time using a monitor with the camera and I am very happy with my purchase! And it was very easy to figure out how to use. Would definitely recommend this !!
