BCAA (Branched Chain Amino Acids) stands for the three amino acids valine, leucine and isoleucine. They are essential - the body cannot produce them itself, but has to absorb them from food. Human muscles consist of about one third of these three amino acids, which makes them very attractive for athletes. BCAAs are also absorbed very quickly compared to many other amino acids. Especially in weight training, the ratio of 2 parts leucine to one part isoleucine and one part valine (2:1:1) is established for BCAA products - a positive effect of products that use 4 or even 8 parts leucine has not been proven. Only tested and safe ingredients are used for the BCAA products from nu3. All three amino acids are obtained by fermentation from maize. The processing and filling takes place in Germany. It is best consumed before or directly after training.
