Burns Puppy Original Chicken & Brown Rice All Breeds 12Kg

Great puppy food which gives my puppy English Springer Spaniel all she needs.Our puppy is currently five months old, and this is the only food she has had since she was weaned. She's been developing well, and I put that down to using a high quality food. We plan on continuing to use Burns puppy until her growth plateaus at around 12 months.I am definitely of the belief that if you put rubbish in, you get rubbish out...A word of caution is that you need to be sensible when using the recommendation for amount of food per day. Our pup is certainly on the slimmer end of the spectrum, and we are feeding her almost double the guideline amount (8kg dog, 5 months old, 75g three times a day) as she is a very active breed and rarely sits still.

Breeder recommended this for our English Springer pup and she certainly seems to enjoy it. Another review questioned the recommended daily amounts and our pup would have starved if we had stuck with them, we feed her 3 times a day and I would say that we have doubled the amount and you can still see her ribs when she stretches. My other dogs are on Wagg Adult and thrive on it, so I might try the puppy version next and its also a lot cheaper.

Great food full of nourishment & everything a dog needs , it's the best . I have a black German shepherd puppy & she is fit, strong , happy & has a beautiful shinny coat Don't waste your money on any dog food you get in a supermarket its rubbish in fact they are the equivalent of feeding your dog on mac Donald's

This is our second purchase of this. Our Vizsla puppy was fed on this with the breeder so we carried on using it. It's perfect added with a little cream cheese in the bowl or in a Kong as they love to work to get their food. I can highly recommend it as there's very little smell compared to wet food which is a real bonus for us. We store it in a swing bin for easy scooping.

Very big grains for a puppy. It says suitable for all breeds of puppies, but this is really only suitable for large puppies or fully grown dogs.My puppy has trouble chewing these grains as they are hard. Also the size is intimidating for him.He is much happier with smaller quibble.

I now swear by burns for both my puppy spaniel and for Yorkshire terrier. No fuss they love it and they are really healthy with lovely coats and great teeth. Everyone comments on how soft they are and it certainly isn’t from rolling in the muck over the field!

My Boston Terrier has been eating this since he was a puppy.Six years on he still enjoys every meal.As his mum I can only speak to the benefits I see beyond an empty dish.They are a lovely healthy coat and digestive system.Also as Bosties can be a boisterous breed,he benefits from the lower protein content as it makes for a slightly calmer,happier pooch .Though he is still a cheeky little monkey which frankly I like. Mowgli and I highly recommend it.

Although this is more about the delivery than the product itself, there is nowhere else I can find to comment on the state of the bag when it was delivered. As you can see from the photo, this was how we found the bag on our porch. It had been opened. As this is a food item, there is clearly a concern with contamination. We had no option to return the goods as we had run out of food for our dog.

I have a 17 week old Cockerpoo puppy, I heard good things about this brand so went for it. I also have a 10 year old french bulldog bitch who has health issues and is underweight. The manufacturer recommends this for older dogs who are underweight as well. The puppy immediately developed the diarrhoea it did not suit him at all. But my older dog has absolutely thrived she's put on weight her skin irritation has improved as well. The puppy is back eating the brand I was feeding him previously. So overall I'm happy.

Tried many different foods hypoallergenic,sensitive with all different prices and always got the same result, loose stools!I would give him food for 6 weeks and then try a different brand as nothing changed.I gave him probiotics ,stool thickeners prokoin etc nothing worked.Now Alf has been on this for 3 months and after 3 weeks he has had really good solid stools with no more supplements needed so pretty amazing! It's a bit more expensive but he dosn't eat as much and its properly digested if your dog struggles i would give it a try it's been really good.

My puppy was very ill from the day we picked him up, he was on bakers which we changed immediately. The vet recommended burns puppy mini and he is now on this as the mini are very small. He is perfect now, no sloppy poos no blood and loves the taste. Can't recommend enough. Quick delivery from amazon too.

Great food! My 4 month Sprocker pup has a super sensitive stomatch but does really well on this food and he seems to love it too! Always a great price too, much cheaper than buying from our local pet shop.

My dogs hated this food and wouldn’t go near it. I can tell the difference in quality between this and James Wellbeloved. My two shibas love their new food and definitely won’t be ordering this again.

She came to us from the breeder, who was feeding her a different feed, with an upset tummy. Fed her on rice and chicken for a few weeks till it settled down, then gradually introduced Burns Puppy. No problems at all now. Everyone comments on her shiny coat. No way am I changing her feed again!

Our puppy loves this food. She has a very sensitive stomach and this food has really helped with this.
