Wow, this is a long story but it pulls you in right away. I lovedStahl’s POV writing style. It’s different from what we’re used to reading.Scarlet...well she’s a little crazy at first and you can’t help but cringe sometimes at some of her antics but she’s really good people.Shade...oh my... enough said!I found this story by accident and I’m glad I did. It’s really well written and I loved all the supporting characters. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series.

I have read all of Shey Stahl's books and there are a lot but THIS ONE is the cherry on top of the sundae. I laughed and cried and giggled at 2am because Shade & Scarlett have kept me up at night. Shade is a straight up bad ass and knows it. He is a FMX racing star with girls at every stop. A guy who has it all but can't enjoy life bc of a certain someone he has vowed to protect and love no matter what. Even when tragedy strikes he feels like he still owes them his loyalty to a degree. Shade's lost and hurt and taking a path of destruction but enter Scarlett who is no regular woman. She knows what she wants and nothing will stand in her way even if it means keeping secrets. Falling in love was not what Shade was looking for and he got more than he bargained for in his curly headed assistant. And Scarlett was going to make Shade feel and desire a love that is real and honest and hot...really hot! Shey Stahl outdid herself in this book. Shey truly captured the gamut in love and loss and redemption and healing and learning to forgive. I devoured it in 4 hours and still giggle to myself. PS: You need to read Burn to understand the crae crae Scarlett and hot as sin Shade to see what started this cat and mouse game...you will not be disappointed!!!

What a breath of fresh air! It seems nowadays that there aren't a lot of original ideas, characters or plots but I have to say that is not the case with Shey Stahl and her latest release! Shade is an awesome character with a lot of depth and angst but also has a playful, immature, crazy side to him that makes him a very sexy combination of beauty and beast!! Scarlet. What can you say but wow! She's strong, feisty, beautiful and just as crazy as the rest!! You can't help but fall in love with her antics and her thoughts. She is impossible not to love!!The supporting character's in this story (Shade's two brothers Roan and Tiller plus their uncle and publicist) are amazing and we can only hope that there is more to come from this crazy family!Shade and Scarlet's story is full of emotion and inner conflict but in the end it's an entertaining and heartfelt read!!I can't wait to see what comes next with this crazy crew! Bring Tiller on!!!

It's not that I don't like doing reviews I'm just not good with words like a lot are. I'll admit the first couple of chapters was hard for me to focus on, but obviously that went away and I was able to really get into the book. This might just be me, but I'm really hoping this is gonna be a new series from Shey Stahl *fingers crossed* Honestly I think I feel in love with all 3 brothers. As always this book had some seriously funny parts and wouldn't expect anything less from Shey. She's brilliant!! This is a long read, but totally worth it. So get your copy an start reading an fall in love with a new family.

There are certain books that just stick with you long after you've read them & Shade is definitely one of those books. Shey Stahl gets you in all the feels with this one & you'll definitely end up with a book hangover but I PROMISE it'll be worth it. Your taken on this journey with Shade & Scarlett through loss, self destruction, self discovery, friendship & love. I cannot say how hard I LOVED this book from how differently it was written to how I fell in love with all of these characters and their journey. I can't wait to see where Shey Stahl takes us next with this series!

Finally someone got a motocross book right. We race and you don't know how many times the terminology is wrong or someone doesn't have any idea about how a dirtbike actually works. I was so relived. The relationship between Shade and Scarlet is a little contrived. Scarlet is pretty shallow, but grows on you as the story progresses. The banter between the two is hilarious! Overall an entertaining read.

This is hands down, my absolute favorite book from this author!! The tale of Shade and Scarlett was simply amazing! Scarlett may have originally set out to just be a one and done with Shade.....but what they eventually found in each other was truly beautiful. Scarlett brought life into Shade in a way that had never been done before. It was awesome how Willa had the intuitiveness to see that in her before anyone else did. Love these characters more that I can even put into words. Shey is a fantastic author and I hope everyone has a chance to read this story!

I absolutely loved this book from the first page it drew me in and spat me out again, at first I wasn't sure about scarlet the whole fangirl thing put me off her but once you get to know her you can't help but love her and shade omg! Beautifully deep character who's hot as sin with a heart of gold. I've never read or known much about freestyle/ motocross but the authors description of the stunts and what goes into them really drew me in to a world i knew nothing about and made me feel a part of it. This book touched on some very serious mental health issues as well as addiction, rape and suicide so may be a trigger for some but it's dealt with in a sympathetic way and not too in depth. It's a bit of an emotional rollercoaster but so worth the read and I loved the supporting characters shades brothers are epic especially tiller i think he was dropped on his head as a baby with the stuff he does and comes out with can't wait to see if he has his own book and can find a woman to tame him, also the authors writing style is very different the characters talk to you throughout not something I've come across before but it's brilliant many times I've downloaded a book to scrap it at the first page because it's written about the characters rather than the first person so this is a new way to read and be a part of the story. Will be downloading all and any books this author writes a highly recommend shade.

This is the first book I've read from this author and will definitely be the last. The first part of the book was so long and drawn out it was boring and I nearly gave up but parts 2 and 3 do get better. I hated the fact the author kept getting the main characters to speak to the readers as if we were thick and couldn't imagine the scene in our head, I couldnt work out if the author was patronising us or just wanting to fill the book out by explaining every situation to us. I've never read a book set out like this before and I didn't like it. It does get better but I found at times I was skipping pages just to get it finished cause it kept dragging on and on. I've seen other people giving 5 stars for this book so maybe it's just me who feels this way

This is a story of three parts, the first part was very long winded and took ages to get to the point of things. the 2nd and 3rd parts I enjoyed, the story picked up pace and the characters of Scarlet and Shade really started to grow and come alive for me and you get to know and like them much better. I liked Shade's brothers Tiller and Roan and hope there will be a story for each of them in the future and Tom too.

what is it about those goggles and leathers, they could be a wrinkly old dude as far from Shade as possible!Then there is the kick ass regular girl, who claims the unobtainable.Loved this installment from Shey Stahl, who is quickly becoming one of my favourite one click authors.

Omg. This book what can I say loved it. Right off from the start you felt everything that they did. It's makes you laugh and cry. It's an emotional rollercoaster you must ride on. If you don't love shade and scar by the end I'll be very surprised.
