Good Watercolor Pencils, Lovely Colors
These are very nice watercolor pencils with a nice selection of colors. The quality to value ratio is high as these pencils perform much like the more expensive name brands.I bought these for my son to try out, and we got out my more expensive sets to compare and these are not really all that much different. These watercolor pencils are great for just about any project and it is my feeling that you should try out different brands of art products and then use those that you like. You don't necessarily have to use the most expensive product out there to achieve beautiful results.Overall, great pencils, lovely colors, perfect for someone wanting to try out a watercolor pencil medium without investing a ton of money.

Lovely themed colors, fun to work with and blend nicely
New to watercolor, I decided to purchase a few different materials to explore. I have used these pencils a few different ways and I'm really impressed with many things about them. The color themes in each tin are really lovely colors, and they work so well together. They are vibrant and pleasing on the page, and blend quite easily on application or while being worked in the piece. They also layer very nicely as well.I have also used them with a water brush in the field, pulling the color from the pencils and applying it to the paper with the water brush. It's been a fun experience thinking of new ways to use them and trying out different techniques. I have had no problems or issues with the pencils breaking, and the colors feel very smooth. I have enjoyed them and believe this was a good purchase.

Good overall especially for the price
I bought these in hopes of using them for fine details on resin. As opposed to using pan watercolor cakes and brushes. After testing them dry on paper then adding a wet brush and also dipping the watercolor tip of the pencil only into water and then applying (which are the intructions that are printed on the front of the tin) I can tell they may be difficult to use for fine detail on resin. The blending ability seems lacking. Without very even pressure when applying, the color has breaks in it. Which is why I feel it may be difficult to use for softer, finer details. For everything else is should be good. Overall a good product for the price of $13. It even came with a free small blank page booklet. The paper isn't rated or graded for using with watercolor. But it's only intended to test the pencils and it's also free so no issue there.

Great Pigmentation!
I love all the Prima watercolors so I was excited to try these and was not disappointed. Great pigmentation. Wish they made them in more colors. Definitely worth the purchase price.

This was recommended to me and it's true to the recommendation
This was recommended to me and it's true to the recommendation. It's everything I expected. It blends nicely with water, the color palette is a must for artists and it's not as good a quality as Caran D'ache, but it's more affordable.

Good coverage
Pencils go down well, they are creamy and final colours are bright. The set needed another yellow, the one included is a little too pale.apart from that love them.

Great for use on my Julie Nutting Dolls
I just gave this 5 stars which equals "I love it" and I certainly do. These are my first experience with watercolor pencils and they are exactly what I was looking for to use on my Julie Nutting doll stamps.
