Taken in by the Winder title
With an ageing Seiko Kinetic I was seeking a means to enhance the duration of ‘charge’ overnight, providing confidence in time keeping during the following day. It was not until the watch winder was delivered and tried that I discovered that it does not wind-up the watch, merely keeps it at a steady state. Thus the reason for three stars. Presentation in a leather style box, with clear window display of the watch face inside, cannot be faulted. If the requirement is to maintain a steady state in a ‘dress’ watch worn occasionally this winder will meet requirements but it is not the top-up winder I was seeking for a single watch in continuous use. Thankfully, it was a simple process to return the winder to Amazon with full refund. (Although I wished to keep my Kinetic watch, for sentimental reasons, the only solution to my problem was to buy a new watch!)

It does do what it says it does.
Having used this to keep my automatic watch (used for work Monday to Friday) working over the weekend I put the watch in on Friday night and it was still working and to the right time when I put it back on to wear 1st thing Monday morning. The motor is that quiet that I wasn't even sure if it was working. The only thing that slightly disappoints me is that the guarantee is only valid for 30 days. This is the only reason for not giving 5 stars across the full range.

Not worth the hassle!!.
No good at all when using batteries. 1 set of batteries last less than a week. Which is no good if you want to keep your watch in a safe.Works well on mains. But doesn’t not suit my purpose.

Value for money
The product is great, looks good very quiet, the only thing i would say is if you had a very large faced watch it might not fit with the lid closed, but my tag its fine.

Pretty unhappy with overall performance.
At first I was pleased with this. My watch fitted no bother and it seemed to work fine. It is a little noisy when turning but nothing that bothered me too much.I received the item on May 9th, and started using it. However as of today 15th October it is no longer working. So not good for 5 months use.I am also finding it difficult to contact the supplier to make any sort of complaint.

Price of mind know when I don’t wear my watch I know my winder will keep it going
I have an expensive which needs to working all the time as I know it is pricey to get serviced having a watch winder keeps my watch going it does this by automatically rotating for a set time then stops then rotates the opposite way all at set intervals wouldn’t be without my winders

Quite, well made.
I have two watches, I us this item to keep one wound up while I wear the other, have to prop the back end on a small box to work ok.
