JACK PYKEAshcombe Neoprene Wellington Boots

It's early days yet but these boots fit very well (size 10) and appear to be quite sturdy. They are better value than the Lakeland boots I've had before which I really like, but my two pairs have both unfortunately split at the heel within 12 months. I'll be interested to see how long these last.

I bought these boots on September 9th, at first these boots were very comfy and light, within five weeks of wearing them the heel on the left hand boot collapsed and the toe on the right hand boot leaks. It is now Oct 14th and they are unwearable and destined for the bin. Most disappointingly of all, I have had no response from the seller on the matter. I have spoken to Jack pyke the manufacturer who were very helpful and would be happy to refund, but said the matter had to be dealt with by the seller 'the golden bear'. The seller has not responded to my messages, I hold out little hope of a refund. In short, I'm sure these boots would be fine for occasional wear, but they are not for everyday use, and I would not expect great customer service from this seller.

Very comfortable to wear, I have worn these for many hours straight and they were lovely to wear, very warm and water proof but also extremely light, I highly recommend these wellies to anyone looking for warm comfortable water proof wellies for shooting or countryside activities!

The boots look and fit nice and are warm, but after 7 weeks they split on the side so not for purpose!!

I used these to do a full days beating across all types of terrain with my dogs ,open ploughed fields , corn rows hidden streams in a valley , slippery rocks tarmac roads you name it we went to drive out the birds on it , these were VERY comfortable they aren’t as rigid as a normal welly but have support in the right places they grip the terrain brilliantly and have a nice soft supportive sole the neoprene top around your calf doesn’t cut of circulation and almost forms a seal had bone dry feet and the end of the day and usually my feet will sweat in normal wellies and get damp but not in theses .After the full day it felt like I had been wearing trainers fresh out the box no rubbing or blisters and no aches . Only thing I found is the insoles did tend to slip back but this didn’t bother me I took them out and was just as comfortable but I plan to double side tape them in . Only thing I found is they came up a little long from heel to toe so maybe go a size down as the tops of theses have a lot of give

I have only worn these for 3 months and leak sprung around the ankle, the lining is not particularly good either

These wellies are very poorly made and should be avoided. The tab at the back of one of the boots, to help pull them on, tore the very first time I used it. The rubber dipping over the neoprene cracked on both boots within a month and the neoprene beneath the cracks held out for just a couple of weeks longer. Now the seams where the sole joins the rest of the boot is leaking water. Don't waste your money, buy something else.
