Square 6x6" Wall Plate for Nest by Greenfii

Nice quality; looks very nice. Covered the big round mark left by old thermostat whereas the one provided by Nest was too small to cover. It's big enough to cover, but not so big to look bad.

Nice Product. Be aware that you will have to take the wires off your thermotat and remount everything. You will NOT have to drill new holes or anything. It is fine to use your existing holes... Just be aware that you need to cut off your Power and take your thermostat off the wall and undo the wires.* Only install during day light or if you have a head lamp. You will need to cut the house power for safety.1) Cut the all Power.2) Remove Thermostat Face.3) Take a picture of the wire connections, so you know how to connect it back.4) Disconnect Wires.5) Un mount thermostat base.6) Remove Protective plastic tape cover on Plate.7) Push Wires through hole in plate and through the hole on the Thermostat mount/base.8) Screw the thermostat base to the wall.9) Reconnect wires. (use your picture that you took).10) Put thermostat face back on.11) Cut Power back on.12) Clean plate with stainless steel wipes or cleaner.Looks Awesome!Give yourself time to do this install. Do NOT install this if you are not comfortable with completely removing your thermostat from the wall.

It looks so so but fingerprints are a problem, as displayed in the pic, and if your wall is textured I would avoid it. It was useful in covering up a hole in the wall but I might swap it out with the plastic plate that came with the Nest. I had to use double sided tape to get it slightly even. I'd suggest getting the round one instead if you have textured walls, or just avoid all together.

Horrible product. Sharp unfinished edges and lackluster finish. Also does not sit flat on the wall and can't imagine that it would sit flat on any wall

What the product photos of the Nest thermostat don't show is that it comes with a white wall plate. Since I was going to replacing an existing thermostat that I knew was smaller, I assumed that you had to buy the wall plate. So I did. Once we got into the box for the Nest, it became obvious that we really didn't need the rather pricy wall plates to get a very nice installation.So ... The product looks very nice. Just be aware of the fact that you may not need it at all.

What a neat product. It works nearly too perfectly and is user friendly.

Since this was intentionally purchased for a different Nest product having to do modifications was somewhat expected. But being a Nest advertised product it was expected that all mounting was the same. Worked well once modified.

Looked terrible when I received it. Neither side was a smooth polish and I did not use it.
