I got these hangers specifically to rotate my daily work pants in an organized manner and to save space in my closet. I knew right away when I started to “load” the first hanger that these were going to be a problem. As others have noted the rubber coating on the hanger bars is super grippy, to the point of being downright sticky to almost every fabric. I found that I had to turn the hanger horizontal to even get jeans loaded on it and five pairs of jeans is just too heavy to manipulate. Pulling a pair of jeans off from the middle or bottom was downright maddening. I assume the stickiness serves a purpose but to me it was way too frustrating to deal with on a daily basis so I decided to hang my little used dress slacks on these hangers, thinking the smooth fabrics would be easier to slide on and off. Nope, if anything the coating is even stickier on microfiber, polyester and rayon.So I’m keeping them, but just using them for storage instead of daily use.

Giving this 3 stars rather than 4 simply because: why the hell would anyone think that using a super sticky plastic to cover the hanger is a good idea on something where you have to slide clothes between other layers of clothes to get them on the hanger? It's not like they're hanging at an angle and we have to guard against slippage! I don't live on a dang boat! It's ridiculous. I have to pull the entire hanger out and tilt it completely horizontal so the clothes already on the hanger don't touch each other in order to hang a pair of pants on a middle rung. Ah, 1st-world problems! Perhaps the makers were concerned that I live in an earthquake zone and were trying to protect me....

I will likely return this item due to the fact it did not save me as much rod space as I thought it would. Additionally, I bought it to hang jeans, and the pant hanger, fully loaded, was too heavy for me to maneuver. I wanted to write this review, however, because the product quality itself was much better than I ever thought it would be. When I did have the jeans hung on each of the "prongs," there was no doubt that it was plenty sturdy and absolutely no evidence of bending or stress on the hanger itself. While it didn't work especially well for me, it was my application of the product, not the product itself.

Used the seller's suggestion to use these hangers for garden flag storage. They are sturdy & the flags slide smoothly on the rods. Makes it easy to see each flag hanging straight--no wrinkles, no unrolling. Great idea!

The bar diameter of these aren't quite as big as my older sets but they seem to be holding 5 pair of jeans apiece without problems. Note: they are covered with a grippy coating that is both a blessing and a curse. Blessing: your pants definitely will not slide off accidentally. Curse: the grippy-ness means you have to maneuver your pants onto the hangers as they won't slip right on easily. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This hanger is great for space saving, but the rubber grips that keep the pants in place also make it hard to get them on. I used to have one where the arms were hingedand it was great. I wish I'd spent the extra money to buy the same one again.

I bought these to use for my 12x18 garden flags and they serve that purpose wonderfully. Sturdy and easy to use.

I really liked this product as it does help save space. This product only works for dress pants and very thin pants of that style as described. Nothing negative to say about this product!!
