Nikon MH-18a Quick Battery Charger for the EN-EL3e Battery compatible with Nikon D80, D200, D300 and D700 Digital SLR Cameras

I realize that there are a host of cheaper knock off brands available at Amazon and at other vendors. However, staying with Nikon branded equipment is a good choice. I used mine recently at 220 volts in Peru and it worked perfectly without a converter. It is well built and the wide range of voltages and hertz settings insures world-wide capabilities. Why buy a knock-off when the real thing is reasonably priced? How much are your photos worth to you?

A great find on Amazon for charging a D200 Nikon battery (EN-EL3e). It is comforting to find accessories for products deemed “dated” on Amazon!

Like the previous post, I too bought a cheaper version off Ebay when I lost the original charger for my D80. The Ebay one worked intermittently and the light kept flashing. After a day or two I thought awright, I can either try to save a few bucks and burn up the battery which will overall cost a lot more expensive to replace, or just buy the real deal charger and be done with it. Glad I bought this one. It fits and works great, no surprise since its an original Nikon product. I just need to be careful not to loose this one.

Only reason for 4 stars is because the batteries I had didn’t actually charge. I later found out that the batteries I had were duds. I bought new batteries but I still haven’t even used this charger for them yet. I’m sure it’s great though!

I have bought some other charges in the past that didn’t work out so I went back to the original charger let’s see how long this one lasts but as for now I’m very happy with it

Item was a Nikon MH-18a battery charger. Item was new and functional. However, the vendor (Best in Front) seemed a bit slow, taking 11 days from the time of the order to shipping. The item was factory-wrapped in a single-layer plastic bag. The vendor just slapped this into a thin, single layered plastic shipping bag with no packing materials.This item from NIKON is subject to easy damage from dropping due to its use of a brittle ferrite inductor in its circuitry. If you order this from this vendor, double check the return policies in case you are unlucky and receive a damaged unit from rough handling and poor packaging.

Some of the other reviews make it seem like this is a cheap knock off charger. From what i can tell it is an actual Nikon product, it came in a real looking Nikon box, had all the Nikon paperwork and looks IDENTICAL to the charger that came with my D300.Needless to say, it works fine for me and is good to have a second charger when i loose the other one or travel and forget to unpack my suitcase.

Original Nikon parts are always top grade, and have never failed me in 35 yrs. This charger does its job exactly as it should, with no flaws or misrepresentation. Nikon has once again, lived up to its reputation as being the best in the world.
